Not everyone but some lives are so empty, uneasy and full of ingratitude that they have to fill their lives with stupid drama instead of thinking things through and making an effort to improve their life. I have fallen into that trap myself. In periods of stress in my early I used to whine and long for sympathy. Thankfully it got old at one point and I grew out of it.

Got out of school and got a decent paying job with flexible hours, can get off at 2:30. I drive home and listen to history podcasts and lecturers while playing video games. Just going to keep collecting arcade games, vintage computers, video games and mechanical keyboards. I want to make my study/game room home look like a mix of a video store, arcade room and video game shop from late 80s/early 90s. I am in the best shape I've ever been in and feel good from eating simple meat, salad and lentil…

"Sailer's Law of Female Journalism: The most heartfelt articles by female journalists tend to be demands that social values be overturned in order that, Come the Revolution, the journalist herself will be considered hotter-looking."

Yeah I get tired of that cult. I'd rather look at it the same way I look at trying to refrain from over-eating.

It may because you are introverted. Introverts tend to react more to stimuli, especially negative emotion. This is normal and you should accept that it will take a while to adjust to it. It is not a simple on-off switch, you will normalize gradually if you expose yourself to negative thoughts. Imagine bad situations for a few minutes. Suddenly you will feel better and more comfortable. Make sure to start the day with a good clean protein heavy breakfast. It works wonders. The truth is that you s…

Cutting down or minimizing on any vice is good, as it strenghtens your willpower and impulse control. In this particular case I heard stories on people edging hours on end. Jim Norton talks about watching so much that he developed bizarre fetishes. So fuck it. I'd rather wait for a real hot girl than to self-medicate. Abstaining from it makes me feel strong and powerful.

My father was. He grew up with a lot of sickness and misery in his family so he chose to disengage from the matrix early on in the his late teens in the tail of the 1960s in order to live a calm life with little risk taking. Instead of jumping on the whole drug and alcohol-filled hippie irresponsibility fad he filled his life with responsibility, work, watching horse tracks, news and stockpicking. He did not bother with a partner until his late 30s, when he was economically unbreakable. My moms …

+1. I am feel tired after work and after working out but I am not gonna be a lazy partner because of it. Fuck that. Brew some coffee and lay down for a few minutes. Our ancestors worked all the time with a day off every third sunday. The more you do - the more energy you get. People that are actually productive are productive by a large margin.

Agreed. I rarely get positive emotion or energy from it. It mostly feels like a grind where both parties force niceties on each other. Unless the girl is attractive and is clearly interested in talking to me, I try to just reply with one liners. People want you to entertain them rather than hear your opinion. I am not gonna go out of my way to play their game. I would rather shut up and read.

Totally normal. If you abstain from sex/porn/masturbation on a regular basis there is a chance you will flatline, i.e. low libido and reduced sexual urges. The tradeoff is greater calm and enjoyment of other things in life: hobbies, fitness, planning for the future, getting immersed in books and video games. It's great!

+1. My parents have seen it all and most of their friend are divorced, even multiple times. They realise that it is mostly a crap shoot where both parties make themselves extra vulnerable to negative emotion and economic setbacks. My friends are thinking along similar lines. I try to tell the truth in small dosages rather than presenting the whole mgtow / rp framework. It is more productive, relatable and more likely to be convincing.

So many gems. Books like this tell the truth that you otherwise would need to learn by experiencing it first hand. They will save you a lot of time, unnecessary failure and frustration. For example how women are first and foremost only loyal to their own emotions, which is why a lot of their choices seem foreign, silly and difficult to understand to men.

Yeah. Family has been owning rifles for multiple generations, some even participated in the wars in the Napoleonic Era and earning marksman badges. Would love to get a Kimber Micro 9 one day, as depicted here -> http://imgur.com/a/SrAeS

Yeah that is the way to fly under the radar. The best way to get a relationship going is to first flirt, bed and get her addicted to you.

They get by fine just by being shallow. Society expects nothing more from them. Vapidness and being trendy is celebrated everywhere in the public eye. Cool girls that are pleasant, genuinely interested in hearing differing opinions and someone's life story are becoming rarer by the second, but they are out there. Might as well try to enjoy yourself while you wait for them to turn up on tinder.

Even expert conversationalists don't hold most people's interest for long. People would not know a great conversationalist if they bit them in the ass. As long as you don't annoy people, you should do fine. Most people are boring to talk to because they have never worked on their social skills or filtered out the things that would interest other people to hear about. If you do something that makes you valuable, it will be much easier for you to gain influence and be remembered by people. For exa…

I respect Dice's landmark album "The day the laughter died" because it's a reaction towards his own offensiveness. He does strange stream-of-consciousness monologue and fucks his own bits up by delivering them flat. Early cringe comedy.

My father has followed them to a tee. He started with nothing and is a millionaire, gave us a challenging though safe upbringing and is highly regarded in his line of work. A man of honor and fidelity. Never heard that he was a player, seems like being a workaholic is his main passion. I try follow in his footsteps, even though I'm set when he checks out. His honor means everything to him.

The best way to cope with ADHD is to structure his life around his strengths and weaknesses. Ritalin is a good medicine but some prefer to take a lower dosage or cut it out. ADHD is both a blessing and a curse. It's powerful force inside him that can make him very productive once he finds an outlet that is right for him. I would recommend some of Dr. Russell Barkley's books on adult ADHD. There are many possibillities where it can be a resource and a superpower.

For me it isn't an issue. I wanted to get suggestions for what she REALLY is communicating. Always trying to be one step ahead if it's possible. Plating is the plan. My country has different dating traditions. I'm not expected to pay a single cent. She gets her bill, I get mine.

A lot of them use it to relieve anxiety - essentially self-medicating themselves into releasing dopamine to cope with stress/restlessness/unrealistic negative self-image and so on. Sure there is a sexual element but male depression is way more problematic and deadly than sex addiction.
