If everything is the fault of the patriarchy it creates a convenient excuse to not have to take responsibility for your life, and you are 1000% responsible for every success and failure, every consequence, whether you think you are or not. Being a victim is the most convenient way to avoid accountability. It’s a lie that facilitates being able to avoid responsibility for your own failures, and justifying your shitty choices about how you treat others. This is the illusion of empowerment that fem…

I’m annoying even myself right now with this soap box shit, but I couldn’t let this one go. There is no “after self-improvement.” It is a life long journey in which you commit to being better, in some way, no matter how small, every day. The thing that makes self-improvement transformational is that commitment and the mindset that results, because it changes the way you perceive yourself, teaches you the value of failure, redefines success, enhances your ability to adapt to crisis, teaches you t…

Who hurt you? Because you’re not describing most men, you’re not even describing a significant percentage of them. A man that cheats on his pregnant wife is not a man. But your post sounds like personal experience projected on literally half of humanity. I’m sorry if you haven’t met a decent man, but don’t try to tell us that we’re all the same. That’s just not real.

I think people overthink this. Their issue with single moms is a demonstrated history of bad decision making related to reproduction, a reluctance to contribute to another man’s progeny, because that’s resources their own children don’t get, and a reluctance to deal with the asshole baby-daddy who is more likely than not to introduce the potential for violence into the scenario depending on their personality and the circumstances. The reasoning is, “why would I deal with this if I don’t have to?…

Knowing that the person you’re crazy about has, in their eyes, settled for you, would be very destructive to your self-image. The more dominant or confident a man is the less likely he would be able to tolerate that kind of thing. Honestly, no matter how good of an actress someone is a person can tell the difference between genuine desire and erotic theater. If you believe you have settled for someone, in all likelihood, they already know that’s how you feel, and if you see signs of resentment i…

This is a powerfully delusional post. Have there been major studies to determine the existence of gold digging? You’re actually going to claim that a man’s income and obtaining access to it is not a motivation for some women? Everyone on here knows that this is real and most of the men on this sub that actively date have had direct experience with it at one time or another. OP is right to categorize Sugar Babies as prostitutes, because they are, period. But any time a relationship is reduced to …

You argue like every woman I’ve encountered that is bitter about the fact that men prefer to date women younger than them, and that they do so, frequently, because they can. 🥲 filled with bitterness and resentment.

Oh, I’m sorry, I thought you were trying to make a credible claim rather than just representing an obvious lie inspired by an emotional response, amounting to petty resentment for something you see as unfair. My bad, I’ll stop trying to discuss facts with you. I didn’t realize what your original comment actually represented; bitterness.

Odd, I don’t see a link to research in your post. I’m a healthcare provider and I was educated on these sorts of things through multiple degrees. You’re the one that made the misleading statement. The burden of proof is on you. Or just say you made a massive generalization since only a tiny portion of men over 35 have been the cause of birth defects. It’s almost always the age of maternal genome.

The most damaging concept, in the red pill, to relationships is AWALT. If you recognize a particular set of tendencies women have that are influenced heavily by evolutionary psychology, then it’s your job to screen for those issues in a potential partner, because the way a woman manifests those tendencies or responds to those evolutionary forces will be different for every woman. But when you tell me an absolutism - AWALT, or “All Women Are Like That,” you eliminate the possibility of seeing the…

My experience in middle age has mirrored yours. Not by choice, but just circumstances, most of my relationships in life have been with women younger than me. My fiancé is 15 years younger than me, but neither of us is aware of it most days. I am fit, not overweight, not balding, no grey hair, definitely no erectile dysfunction. People age differently and the natural tendency is that the longer you live the more likely you are to have accumulated money and status, two things that matter to women.…

Massive generalization unsupported by science. What is FAR more prevalent is the possibility of Down’s syndrome and other birth defects caused by the aging of the female ovum. The almost total majority of children fathered by men over 40 are born without similar defects. Facts are facts.

One woman I know put it this way, “if it’s that good you’d be willing to share it.” I don’t believe I agree with the premise of the statement, since it’s human nature to not want to share a valued and finite resource, but what she is saying is that, if you can’t control a man’s choices to be with other women, but that man represents real value to you, you will share him rather than lose that value in your life. I think it’s fairly indicative of some women’s attitudes in the kinds of scenarios yo…

This is absolutely correct, however, when you discuss behaviors that are mirrored by a large minority or even the majority the application of judgement, in some cases, becomes appropriate, otherwise there is no mechanism to initiate change in that behavior - if it is ultimately considered harmful to society. That change is what we should be seeking here. People getting caught up in the judgement because they are triggered emotionally by its implications is a conversation for your therapist, not …

Men’s use of porn is 100% about visual stimulation for the purposes of achieving orgasm. Men’s sexuality is geared towards visual stimulus and porn provides that. With the rare exception, what porn is NOT is a fixation on the women in it as people. They are not watching it because they think she is cool and pretty and want to be a member of her fan club, they watch for the same reason she was picked to be in the video; she has a big butt or big boobs and she is letting the male performers do thi…

First, take note of what SIMP stands for: Suckas Idolizing Mediocre Pussy. The original idea is that a simp is a guy who goes over the top trying to get picked by a woman who isn’t worthy of that level of attention. When someone calls your man a simp they are disrespecting and insulting you. Don’t tolerate that.

While it’s not true of everyone who has been a sex worker, I think the main issue that people have with it is the understanding that to be able to do that kind of work you have to completely disconnect sex and intimacy and that doing so is not something you can switch on and off at will. Once that disconnection happens and your sexual reality becomes a kind of erotic theater where you become accustomed to doing, being, acting in whatever way you believe will excite your customers, the default wo…

Your duty as a man has zero to do with accepting being casually emasculated by your partner insisting that you forgo being a full participant in your sex life to compensate for issues she has with perceiving your anatomy as inadequate. That’s not an iconic stance. It’s signing off on a kind of symbolic cuckoldry.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 12:39 PM

This. Any man who signed off on this is just asking for total emasculation in the relationship.

Having a problem with feminism has nothing to do with how much I get laid, but is due to it being a toxic, hateful philosophy (in its current incarnation) that is based, at least partially, on resentment, misconception and a huge set of logical fallacies that bring ever conversation back to a mistaken belief that all men, knowingly or otherwise, are members of a not so secret club (the patriarchy) who’s stated intent is to keep women down. Once you decide something like that is real life becomes…

Well, one way would be if she told you that. 😂. I think men want to, at a minimum, be seen as “good enough” and having to bring in a rubber dick for her to get off kinda negates that idea.

As long as the toys aren’t introduced to compensate for your deficient anatomy, in her eyes. What person would be ok knowing that?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 10:16 AM

I think any woman who couldn’t orgasm with me is a woman I probably shouldn’t be with. If you have to bring in toys to get there then I’m feeling “no”. If that’s what’s required either I don’t do it for you, or you have some issues with your biology or sexuality that prevent you from being able to get there. Staying with someone in either situation would be a recipe for disappointment and unhappiness.

Men give oral too, stop acting like it’s some selfless sacrifice, I was referring to the fact that he misses out on experiencing intercourse, and he has set up a situation where when they have it without the dildo and she seems noticeably underwhelmed, he will see that and will become resentful over time. It will stand as a reminder that he is not good enough by himself to really please her. Men want to feel attractive to their partners. They want to feel like their partner can’t keep their hand…

Let’s dig deeper into what this actually means: -She has had bigger guys than you and enjoyed sex with them more than she does with you. -She clearly has an issue with one of your traits that you can never change or improve. That kinda smacks of settling. -You are creating a standard in your sex life that, by definition, leaves your own physical pleasure out of it for at least some of the time. You’re making it ok for her to see you as not good enough, because, at least sexually, you’re not. -Co…

I think the cascade of chemicals is a response to the emotional and physical intensity of being with a new partner. I think the more often it happens the greater the impairment to your ability to experience it, because you become desensitized, which is a nice way of saying those chemicals don’t do for you what they used to. Eventually a new partner stops being the exciting experience it was at first and that means your ability to bond is similarly impaired. This inability directly affects how yo…

Masturbation does not release oxytocin/vasopressin in nearly the same quantities. Actual human contact and actual sex, all with a NEW partner are the only things that do cause such a significant release, if just sex did it a pair bond would diminish over the course of a relationship. The idea that repeated exposure to the massive release of these neurotransmitters often enough to cause downregulation of their receptors is still somewhat theoretical but it is scientifically sound and follows simi…

What on earth would a 22 year old and a 55 year old have to talk about? People mistakenly believe that age gap relationships by definition feature a woman in her early 20’s. Without that element they can’t cry “exploitation!” If you see a 22 year old with a 55 year old man you can be absolutely certain that both of them are being exploited just for drastically different things. But what about the 50 year old man with the 35 year old woman. Is that exploitative too? I don’t know a 55 year old man…

What you’re not getting is that bringing this sexual desire under conscious control is one of the developmental challenges of your 20’s and 30’s. Many men fail to rise to this challenge and find themselves dealing with the fall out of their out of control sex drive. These are lesser men. They are mentally weak. You control your actions, fucking period. If you squash sexual desire you will also mess with so many other aspects of what it is to be a man - ambition, loyalty, so many of the strongest…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 09:17 PM

A man’s sexual prime starts at 30. I don’t know why you would expect it to follow the same path as a woman developmentally. Just as hers begins to end his begins to rise. A man’s period of reproductive viability is so much longer than a woman’s, potentially spanning his lifetime, so his “prime years” start later and last longer.

No but it sure does inform you about the women you can realistically have relationships with. Here’s the important part; recognize that if you don’t take steps to improve yourself, that’s all you have access to. If it’s not good enough for you, you get none. Nobody said life is fair. It most definitely is not. The longer you cry about that reality it’s just more time wasted that could have been spent engaged in real self improvement, because bemoaning the injustice of it all is a literal waste o…

This is funny. If you are self-aware, or even if you avoid that, at some point in life you make an honest assessment of your own attractiveness and you adjust your expectations based on that. Unattractive people know, usually from the feedback of others, that they are unattractive, and either shoot for people slightly more attractive than them, or accept solitude. If they want to have sex they get over their issue with other people’s subjective beauty, or lack thereof, real quick. We all take wh…

Totally, but there are a few who never get it. There are people who die alone in every relationship because they never grew past the “it’s all about me” phase or the “I’m gonna get mine” mentality. There are people who, irrespective of their attractiveness, turn out to be totally unequipped for the reality of relationships. That’s really the point, right? As long as someone is transparent and honest about the way they have chosen to live their life then they have shown you that respect. It’s pretty tough to get all that upset if somebody just owns their choices and can clearly articulate how they have processed those decisions and the effect they had on their lives. You’re right but not for the exact reasons you stated. Being able to readily find partners and having the option to have relationships does not change the essential nature of the women that all men are competing to be with. It is 100% instinctual. Before about 80 years ago a case of the clap would kill you slowly. Venereal diseases were deadly at worst, disfiguring and painful at best. Add to that a woman always knows it’s her child, but a man never did before paternity tests were invented, so for all of human history before that the risk of paternity fraud, resulting in a man investing resources in someone else’s progeny was a very real thing, and men are not ok with that. Lastly, testosterone makes men naturally …

It’s caused by a period where both sexes are subjected to a cascade of oxytocin that is completely independent of environmental factors. Where as that hormone is usually excreted in response to pair bonding behaviors, this time it’s like the bond precedes the behavior, like it’s prompting us to go find someone to bond with. I distinctly remember when it happened to me. I was 29 and living my best life. Decided I would never marry or have children. Had 3 FWBs that were aware of each other and did…

My hormones have never calmed down, I just grew up. Both sexes undergo a developmental shift between 27 and 32. A whole new set of hormones are released that make babies seem appealing and tell you “settle down”. When that hits women they change their goals and strategy. Many men do too.

All this arguing about what RP is or isn’t is a waste of time. It is reality for the last two generations of men. I don’t mean to imply that doing sex work makes you expect to get paid for sex in every relationship, only that financial support and more will come to be expected as a bare minimum, and that the attitude becomes transactional because they see sex as their part of the arrangement, as if that’s something that even counts as an actual contribution to the relationship and not simply what two people who love each other do.

Not that this is everyone’s motivation, but if you aspire to a particular relationship, the decision to pursue it comes before it is acquired. As far as being realistic? I can’t answer that. Sure they can. Lost of women have jobs in California. Who said anything about not working? I certainly don’t have an issue with someone wanting to work. But to be clear a relationship where we both work but she does not feel desire or attraction to me is just as worthless as one where she stays home. I wouldn’t have either relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 05:16 PM

Desire. I got enough friends. I don’t need to financially support them to enjoy that friendship. For me to marry and support a woman she needs to actually desire me. If she doesn’t you’ll know eventually.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 05:14 PM

I think it’s probably a spectrum. You have resources on one side and sexual desire on the other. The fortunate get to have both. I’m just stating that my standard is not a spectrum, that I have one requirement here and that’s that my partner actually have genuine desire for me. If they don’t, I don’t want them.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 05:12 PM

I’m being picky by expecting my partner to actually desire me? Shit, if that’s true then I’m fine with being alone. If you’re lonely make friends, cultivate a life that doesn’t depend on a relationship to make it worth living.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 05:10 PM

I agree. Genuine sexual desire is required. I don’t expect a woman to lower their standards. If someone isn’t genuinely attracted to me I don’t want them any more than they want me. Go for who you want, I’m just saying don’t engage somebody and claim reasons that are not genuine in an effort to secure resources. My resources are for women that genuinely desire me. All others need not apply and I fully accept that you want to be with someone you desire. It’s the only way it should happen.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 02:33 PM

If those are the responses then we are good. What are you not understanding?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 02:30 PM

I’m in my 40’s. I have two kids from a first marriage. They are 12 and 18. I’m going to have more with her. Thanks for saying so. I believe she is worth every good thing I can give her, and that’s the point. She sees me as valuable in the way I care about and because of that I enthusiastically offer her my life, my heart and my resources. It’s what everyone should aspire to.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 02:29 PM

Let’s see, four years in we have sex 2-3 times a day. We can’t keep our hands off of each other and it’s only become more intense over time. For that I would never let her get away. Anything else is just not worth investing in. So yeah, I don’t think anyone sustains that level of sexual engagement for 4 years, never for a moment seeming like she is simply cooperating or going along with it for my sake. No. Just no. She can say that but what we are talking about is the WHY she wants to spend the rest of her life with you. I get that she wants you, the question is what does that desire consist of. For men, if it’s not genuine sexual desire, then it is nothing. You can hate that it’s that way, but it is. If she wouldn’t have dated me 10 years ago but there is genuine sexual desire for me, I can work with that, but if her motivation has more to do with what I can provide for her then I’ll just pas…

I beg to differ. My fiancé is my ultimate and she perceives me as hers.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 02:10 PM

Impulsiveness is to act solely on desire. A man would want to know that you feel that compulsion towards him and that the benefits of being with him in a practical sense are completely secondary to your genuine desire for him. If your boyfriend accepts anything other than that scenario it’s because on some level he does not see himself as good enough to be the object of your sexual desire, and he is taking what he can get. Sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 02:08 PM

Wait, how is marrying someone for what they can provide rather than who they are not 100% transactional? If you wouldn’t date him without the money, then your presence in his life is done in exchange for that money. You are providing the girlfriend experience in exchange for financial benefit. There’s a name for that. Sugaring…prostitution.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 01:58 PM

Using a man for his resources without feeling genuine desire for him is the ultimate method for objectifying a man. As always feminists fail to recognize that men and women are not and have never been the same. Treating them as such will lead to nothing less than the destruction of our society, which many modern feminists readily report as being their objective. What you see as exploitation is not the same as how a man defines it. To objectify a woman is to see her, not as a person, but someone …

You seem to be under the impression that dying alone would be a negative compared to giving your life and resources to a woman that simply sees you as second place. Wouldn’t bother me a bit, but I admit, that is not a choice I’ve ever had to make. If a beta accepts their fate due to a lack of self-worth, it doesn’t alter the lack of genuine value she will bring to his life. By this I mean that her presence constitutes a positive and constructive force in his life, because anyone who settles for …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 01:43 PM

The victim mentality comes from the active deception she employed to draw him to her. If she were honest and just said, “I’m not really all that turned on by guys like you, but you have money and I’m ready to live an easier life, so I guess you’ll do.” Then they could walk into it eyes open. If she failed to do this, she has victimized him. She’s a liar and deserves none of what he has to offer.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 01:37 PM

Ridiculous? Wanting to believe your partner sees you as being her ultimate, and is genuinely attracted to you and feels desire for you is completely rational and bears no comparison to wanting a six foot millionaire. Wanting to be with a man that is 6 feet tall is a preference, or standard. Wanting to be with a millionaire is a fantasy. If having a partner that genuinely desires you is a fantasy, then I’ll pass on the version of reality you are selling. Marrying someone for what they can give yo…

Nobody wants to be the guy she wouldn’t have dated before now, but since her priorities have shifted away from sex, fun, being with an attractive person, and went to home, family and financial support, who could feel good about being the one she chose now. It’s a clear sign that she is not naturally drawn to you based on actual desire or attraction, but what you…

I’ve read all the comments. I want very much to believe this isn’t true, but experience has taught me, unfortunately, that it is a lot of the time. I date established professional women, yet twice now I’ve had them actively deceive me to take money from me, even though I was incredibly generous, paying for our home, paying for everything, as I was raised to do. Both of these women cheated too. They grew up in good homes. They both initially seemed very kind and caring. Both times this happened 4…

The very last person who should ever define masculinity is a woman. What does a woman know about what it means to be a man. Oh she can tell you how she “imagines” men being, or philosophize about a new definition of masculinity, but all that should be taken about as seriously as any other fantasy. What a woman thinks masculinity should be is irrelevant and men waiting around for women to tell them how to act will only lead to more of the same bullshit, besides being weak af. Anyone that opposes this has something to hide. Freakin period. Reality is men are roughly 50% of the population. We have no interest in unknowingly raising somebody else’s child. Note that I said “unknowingly”. If that many people would be deeply opposed to it, I’m going to go ahead and say it’s worth the cost of the lab test to eliminate that concern.

Anyone that says someone’s n-count correlates to their value as a human being is pathetic. What it does correlate to is your value as a partner in some respects, and that’s because some people just don’t want to be with someone who has been with a lot of people. Some people don’t give a shit. Those kinds of preferences are perfectly fine.

It never ceases to amaze me how frequently humans rely on generalization to understand or characterize things that are in no way subject to such generalizations. They do this knowing full well that it is not an accurate method of predicting human behavior. You’re right, not all men will sleep with anyone with two legs and a vagina. A two parent household has been demonstrated to be the only reliable way to raise well-adjusted children that don’t carry issues with them into adulthood related to the absence of either parent. I think two things are at work here, just in my personal experience, that influence this 1000% real phenomenon. First, any perceived attempt to enforce completely legitimate boundaries in a relationship by a man is universally labeled as controlling, and an attempt by men to “control” or constrain female behavior and sexuality. None of these things make you a POS. I don’t recall reading where OP said men ONLY care about sex, only that most of them do. But be sure and default to saying things like “ruled by your penis…”. Hmmm. But for men, the options don’t actually get thinner with age unless he limits himself to dating women his own age. This assumes he takes care of himself. Every woman I have ever dated long-term gained significant weight over the period of the relationship. It’s like you want to signal acceptance, and a relationship naturally conveys comfort, but to let yourself go is disrespectful to your partner. It says, “I don’t care if you find me attractive.” This is just my experience and take on the phenomenon. I don’t think me earning less money is equivalent. I think if I put on 80 lbs over 3 years I’d get dumped.

Low? Nah. But if the number exceeds your age that’s getting kinda gross.

If her body count does not exceed her age, we’re good. If she is pushing triple digits, or even in the 60-70 range, it’s gross. Seriously, ew.

I find the women that excite me the most are not “hot girls” by society’s standards. Who she is, her personality, sense of humor, all contribute to how much she turns me on. That said, there are physical attributes that are pretty important to me. But having a big butt is not that rare, fortunately, so that’s not so much of an issue. 😂

I started my last two relationships through OLD. The first lasted five years, this one a year and a half so far. There were lots of interesting dates in between that I also met through OLD. Not all the apps are created equal, for sure. A lot of people put themselves on there but never actually intend to date, it’s more about the dopamine hit you get from “shopping”, and chatting a new person up for a day or two. It’s pretty fuckin convenient, actually….

Except, again, while you get to decide if sex happens, he gets to decide if a relationship happens, and maybe that’s just not the type he is interested in. Maybe he wants a woman who loves him for his dick. How is that any different than you wanting a man to love you for all those “other things” you have to offer besides your body? Just playing the devil’s advocate, here….

This. People are way to sensitive with their micro aggressions and shit. You don’t have a right to not be offended, life is offense, but if you’re feeling offended, check yourself anyway. Get the fuck over it and go do something useful.

Obesity is a sign of poor health and possible genetic unsuitability. It also smacks of a lack of self-control, even though sometimes it’s really just a bad genetic hand dealt. It’s not that fat girls have anything wrong with them, per se. I am not turned on by skinny girls in the least, but if a woman’s weight reaches the point that curves just become one big curve, I.e. they stop looking like women, then it’s just unattractive.

I started life with a very open attitude about sexual history. I didn’t judge because I sure didn’t want to be judged as unqualified for a relationship due to my own history. I don;t think it occurred to me that if someone follows a particular relationship pattern for several years that it shapes their habits, desires and expectations. Then I had relationships with women that would probably be categorized as promiscuous. All of these relationships had some things in common that were not present …

There’s also; man and woman are both looking for relationship, they start seeing each other, start having sex. The sexual chemistry is good, but upon getting to know each other one comes to recognize the other, while seeming great on paper, has a lifestyle or history that makes a successful relationship unlikely, so they make up some sort of unrelated reason why they have to bounce, or just ghost.

You’re right, which also means women are more likely to have an STD. The response to perceived promiscuity might work both ways except we know that women perceive and respond to male promiscuity differently than men do female promiscuity. There are reasons people endorsed monogamous marriage for so long. Not patriarchal desire to keep women down, but a genuine survival instinct. Marriage enhanced survival on many levels. Restricting sex to a single partner all but ensured you wouldn’t die from a…

That’s fine, but men developed an aversion to sleeping with promiscuous women because a case of the clap meant a certain and horrible death. Just because penicillin exists now isn’t going to squash his deep down aversion to what could have once been a deadly encounter. But absolutely nobody is playing the apologist for men who don’t want to be with promiscuous women. His feelings of aversion or disgust, courtesy of thousands of years of human evolution, are now dismissed as insecurity, much like…

TRP isn’t about men getting what they want from women with no commitment. The red pill is a process of deconditioning from the shit feminism has heaped on society. That same shit is the reason young boys perform poorly in school of late. Feminist society would have you believe that masculinity is inherently evil, and that men are functionally disposable. The red pill is about men saying, “fuck all that horseshit, I’m not playing along. I’ll live my life on my terms.” While part of taking the red…

I’m 49. My recent ex of 5 years is 29. My current girlfriend is 34. I was married for 14 years to a woman 11 years younger than me. I do not seek out younger women. Oddly, women my age don’t seem interested. I’ve never really been able to think of myself as an adult. I have a tough time reconciling that I’m about to be 50. I don’t feel any different than I ever have. It’s always been easy to maintain my weight. When I look in the mirror I don’t see 50. Maybe I’m fooling myself, but I definitely …

It’s funny...my ex lied in the beginning of our relationship. She reasoned that, if I knew about the 80+ men she had slept with before age 25, that I would devalue her. Thing is, it was the lying that ultimately made me do so, not the subject itself. So once she got done cheating on me, leaving in the middle of the night, and running across country to start a “new life”, she immediately was in another relationship. Then another, and another. She went right back to having guys not being willing t…

This makes sense, but I’m not sure how it should make me feel any better. Knowing that fear is what secures a woman’s loyalty means that she is not loyal; that if she wasn’t fearful of the potential loss, she would be readily and easily disloyal. This argument doesn’t improve my perception of women, or the obvious risks involved in trusting them. I’m reasonably well off, fear very little in life, especially the prospect of being alone, and yet, in past relationships, I’ve found that, for women, …

Yes. Where do they find these women with 4 or even 7 lifetime partners. I’ve dated women as high as 80’s, and frequently women who averages 40-50. Maybe it’s best to assume women divide the real number by 10?

For men, today, marriage is an extreme risk with no real payoff. The way the legal system treats men when a marriage is dissolved makes it foolish to consider except in the most ideal circumstances.

Constant contact isn’t a bad thing. I’ve learned that modern women’s need for male attention (preferably from new sources) is the relationship killer.

Extreme. A couple decades after starting puberty and I don’t feel any different than I did at 13. I’m just better at not acting on those desires when I have to be.

People will TELL you who they want to be, but they will SHOW you who they are. Just an anecdotal perspective from my relationships. Notice I said “people”. It’s not just women.

13.2% of the population has HSV2 alone. I think the actual number for all STD’s probably exceeds 1 in 5.

I don’t think sex dolls have much appeal to anyone with options. However...once they can create a sex robot that can completely fool the eye, that can converse naturally, and can engage in sex....I think relationships as we know them are mostly done. If you give a man access to sex with an attractive woman, minus all the potential for nagging, arguments, and confusion, I struggle to imagine why a good amount of us wouldn’t just spend the money for the new Chrissy Compliant bot and just get on wi…

Your statement that it is “not inherently harmful” is incorrect. It is POTENTIALLY harmful, due to the unknowing spread of STDs that cannot be prevented through condom use alone. There is no 100% certain way to eliminate the possibility of infection other than complete abstinence, which I don’t think anyone is signing up for. Since there are a spectrum of consequences to one’s current and future health that come with any STD, frequent sex with new partners increases your chances of being affecte…

Condoms cannot effectively prevent the spread of the Herpes virus. We still shed virus irrespective of whether we have an “active breakout”. Sores are not isolated to the genitals but are frequently present on or near the groin. Anywhere from 1/5 to 1/3 of people infected with the virus will never have a breakout, but will still shed virus regardless, making them an unknowing vector for transmission. Herpes is NOT part of the standard STD test, as viral testing is expensive and frequently beyond…

There are just as many guys with low sex drives as there are women. Once again, stop generalizing about 50% of the human population. At that level nothing generalized will be accurate. You make assumptions about our motivation, desire and experiences that you don’t know anything about. If women stopped trying to trade sex for something else they want/need from a man, and limited their sexual contact to people they actually just wanted to have sex with, there would not be so much pain attached to…

You’re not being held hostage! Take care in picking who you have relationships with. Sex is required? Maybe, part of what he, as a man, is seeking in a relationship, is a partner who has a comparable sex drive to his own and who is legitimately attracted to him so that she wants to have it often. Maybe that’s the exact impression you have him in the beginning of the relationship. Maybe it was even true for you...? If he comes to realize that he is not actually having the relationship he thought …

If you are having sex for any reason other than genuine desire for your partner, then you are insulting him and yourself. If you are trading the sex for something other than just your own pleasure then it is commerce. Who trades sex for some other commodity typically? Are you surprised that when a man realizes that trade was occurring he comes to perceive you differently? And acknowledging that you are trading something unrelated for sex, isn’t he right to do so? Stop thinking of it as a tool to…

And yet they continue to have it, with new people. But they’re not seeking validation?? (Incredulous) does someone need to tell you that having sex to make your boyfriend happy hurts both of you? You, because what, your dignity is secondary to his happiness? Why would you confirm that by participating? And him because the validation he receives in the belief that he is desirable is a lie (one that you are telling, turns out). Since you’re not actually on fire for him as a person, you are simply …

Irrespective of privilege, if sex is such a mixed bag, why ARE women having so much more of it? If it’s so terrifying, and filled with so much risk, what’s with the partner count? Because if it was so damaging, so soul stealing, so agonizing, why would you keep doing it? And then get real sensitive about someone thinking that your tendency to do so in the past, and your seeming need to continue doing it in the present, might be indicative of how you will behave in the future? The only thing you …
