Well that should be obvious. The only benefactors of the supposed "patriarchy" are the modern day aristocrats, the super rich who don't do any work but own all the valuable land. Everyone else suffered at their expense, but men bore and continue to bear the brute of it. They died for their wars. They labored endlessly in their factories. Women were the carrots-on-the-stick for them to do so as Vilar explains.

I will have to respectfully disagree with your opinion. As a young man who has lived his life feeling inadequate, the book has been a real eye-opener. I highly recommend any conscientious person to read it. There is no misogyny unless you take the words out of context. Considering that the author is a woman, it should be clear that any negative references to woman do not in fact refer to all women, but a particular group who have taken advantage of men and continue to do so. The Conservative Party is only economically conservative, they have no unified opposition against liberal policies like these. As well, it is looking very likely that they will be replaced in the next election. As for the Charter, there is nothing that would explicitly forbid such things. There is no organized student resistance either as its much harder start a group for such a thing without being labelled sexist, racist or homophobic.

We need everyone we can get. The main point I was trying to get across is that our enemies are greater than just a few feminists. They are merely puppets. Do you honestly believe that feminism has progressed so far on the merits of their arguments? And on marriage, please read what I wrote about the powerful turning us against each other. I think you misunderstand, we are in full agreement. I'm not advocating treating feminists with kid gloves.
