3	Suck it up and pay I understand sex gets people pregnant and healthy sex habits involve discussion. The point is the decision of childcare is made for the man by law. I'm in a marriage so there are inherent responsibilities here, but elsewhere I don't imagine everyone has talked about what happens if a child comes along. What people should do(discuss beforehand) and actually do are wildly different. But it can't be about two responsible adults making a joint decision when the law controls the man's side anyways. 2	Suck it up and pay Your point sounds good but men don't actually sign any contract before sex, only as the law stands are you forced into "signing a contract" that you are going to take care of the potential baby. Void of any explicit consent that a real contract provides. And that's entirely the point. It sounds irresponsible to me to allow such a catch-all to exist.
