Yeah thank you for voicing and linking Piper here. His sober take on the seriousness of the marriage covenant is exactly what I’m conveying above. This pain is deep, but Christ’s power is stronger, and it will be to OP and her husband’s greater joy to embrace all the redemption Christ offers them and their marriage.

I agree with your sentiments. Caught some insightful ideas here early on but saw a lack of clarity over a lot of obtuse terminology. Read rambling posts I was pointed to to gain understanding with an open mind and still think people were unclear. Have seen a lot of dangerous and ungodly ideas posted here too which is confusing as to whether those ideas are fringe or central. I think your admonition to be careful to define terms and avoid group-think is wise.
