Having kids won’t be any easier if you do it later rather than now. It sounds like you guys are in a great position to start a family. If he wants kids with you i think he should bite the bullet. I had my first baby at 25 and my 2nd at 28. Yes its rough at the begining and your life is sort of on hold as far as travel goes for a while but the good thing is: they grow up! Once they reach about 3 you start to feel like you can do things like travel/have a life again. That was the age i felt like i…

I don’t think being a trophy wife is bad. The way the media portrays a “trophy wife” is in my opinion what causes us to have a negative connotation: a younger, attractive, often stay at home mom/wife who is in it mostly for the money and lifestyle. Our society hates gold diggers and is so quick to call out any attractive woman who’s with a successful man as a gold digger….throw in an age difference and people go nuts. Whats most alarming here is how casual you are about including your father as your first partner. I’m so sorry this happened to you i cannot imagine the impact that would have on the rest of your life. That aside i don’t think 8 is very high and also who is asking? Thats personal information you don’t have to tell anyone.

My husband and I have a 30+ year age gap…i know this is extreme but i somewhat agree with you because most of my friends from college/high school are with partners their same age. I personally have anyways been attracted to men 40+, call me weird but I dated a lot before getting married and I have only once been with someone my own age. I personally think men get better looking as the age and I also think that people in general are more interesting as they get older bc they have more to talk abo…

If I rejected a man I would not expect him to want to he friends, its reasonable and understandable to me. I actually think its strange on a woman’s part to want to be friends with a man that has made a romantic advance that was not wanted on the woman’s part….just a weird dynamic to me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
