The cop testifying there was "“credible” evidence that cast no doubt on her allegations." Shows what little evidence is needed. Here nothing really happened and they call it credible evidence that cast no doubt. I don't know all the details of what she told police and what evidence they had but the fact that none of this happened and they deemed it credible and cast no doubt is scary.

Yeah no shit. She's acting as an arbitrator. People with small claims cases agree to drop the case and sign an arbitration agreement to be on the show. This isn't a secret. Most people realize this. You aren't uncovering some big conspiracy. I'm pretty sure they tell you this at the beginning or end of the show.

“However, I can say that the facts as presented in the Connecticut Post article you are referencing are not entirely accurate,” university spokeswoman Deborah Noack wrote in an email. “Whenever there is any kind of incident at Sacred Heart University, we go to great lengths to ensure due process for all parties involved. The way that this particular case is playing out certainly demonstrates the validity of our procedures.” I only know what this article says but if they expelled the two students…

This political correctness stuff is getting out of hand! They don't even let the reporter use his real name just because some females might be offended???? They have to call him Larry C-Word??

Yeah! He'll go up to cops to give them a hard time and they'll just ask "Robert did you remember to register?" Funny shit. Crazy thing is he still posts those videos. I pulled up the documents from the lawsuit he tried. It looked like a 5-year-old wrote it! Also saw he hasn't worked in over 20 years. Has been on SSI. Yet he still harasses other people because of their job. He has a few videos of him following a parking enforcement lady being a complete dickhead and badgering her about her job. O…

This guy films everything. He films cops mostly but also films random people in public. He is an asshole. Of course he has the right to record in public (and this lady is completely wrong) but doesn't mean he has to. People will ask him politely if he would stop and he doesn't care. There is nothing interesting going on he just tries to stir shit up for his videos. He is also obsessed with filming license plates for some reason. He records cops a lot. But they are never doing anything wrong so h…

Yep. The other side needs to be able to cross examine any witnesses. It would be very unfair to use written statements from witnesses. There are certain circumstanced where it may be allowed but for the most part a statement won't fly.

I don't go in that sub much but I've seen a bunch of comments that seemed to agree that there has been a big change in there since this post. The post in relationships was a couple years ago

Nice! Thanks. I wasn't sure where the original was from. I only saw this picture posted in another sub. I'm surprised it was so long ago. I figured it was a recent post.

For those insisting you do not have to get out of the car if an officer orders you to please look at this information. If you refuse a lawful order to get out of the car you risk being arrested depending on the officer's attitude. If you are detained on a traffic stop you can be ordered out of the car. That is all that is needed. No probable cause, no additional reasonable suspicion of anything else other than the original traffic stop. This is allowed for 'officer safety'. Please see Pennsylvan…

That is wrong. If you refuse you're pressing your luck and risk getting arrested.

I would say he is wrong. You may think something is not legal but you are no in the head of the officer. He may be looking for a robbery suspect that matches your description. He would be legally allowed to detain you to investigate but you would have no idea about the robbery and just think you are being harassed. If you start resisting then there are more charges since the detainment was legal. The side of the road is not the place to challenge a traffic stop. You do that in court. It sucks to…

Officers are allowed to remove people from vehicles on traffic stops in the interest of officer safety. He was also investigating whether she was old enough to be drinking. He was opening to door to get her out of the car. He would need consent, warrant or probable cause if he were searching the car but he was only opening the door to remove her. Also there is no need for probable cause to remove someone from the vehicle on a traffic stop. Being detained already on the traffic stop is all that i…

See Pennsylvania v. Mimms It is a Supreme Court decision holding that a police officer ordering a person out of a car following a traffic stop and conducting a pat-down to check for weapons did not violate the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania_v._Mimms The only reason they need is 'for officer safety'.

Sorry. You're wrong. He would need a warrant or consent to search the car. Not to open the door to get someone out. Officers are allowed to get people out of vehicle for "officer safety". If he was getting her out of the car he had reason to open the door. As long as he isn't snooping around the car there is no issue. If he had seen some evidence in the truck when he opened the door then you could have a argument to suppress that because of an illegal search, but he wasn't searching and there wa…

Yeah that was good he kept calm. A lot of guys would start getting aggressive with the cop because he was touching their girl. Which is stupid. Especially when she's acting like that. I have a feeling the boyfriend has been through similar situations with her.

http://www.pressdemocrat.com/news/6106236-181/gabbi-lemos-mother-sentenced-to?artslide=1 "A separate civil lawsuit filed in federal court alleging excessive force was nullified by the conviction. Lemos, a Petaluma High School graduate, suffered facial bruising when she was thrown on the ground during her initial arrest."

I don't think the cop opening the door was illegal. He was not searching the car. Most likely he was getting her out of the car which is 100% legal.

Testimony is evidence. Both sides testify and the judge decides who they believe more. Happens all the time, in civil cases especially. That is also why he didn't award the full amount the dude was asking. This is true for real civil court cases as well (not just TV court) There are cases where there is no physical evidence. The judge still needs to make a decision based on he said she said. EDIT: i'm not saying that this particular case would have actually turned out this way in a real courtroo…

Are there any pictures of this chick anywhere? I'm curious what she looks like. I wonder what she will scream if she ever is actually raped.

ahhhhhh. Love that sound when she goes through the glass! It always amazes me when everyone around is shocked if the woman is pushed/hit back after she attacks someone. Even after just watching her do it! Pussypass is something most of us witness, or are taught, from a young age. Most people never think. They just continue wit the pussypass mentality,
