I almost feel like he should have just driven her to the station. It might have been faster.

Awesome that you tried. It can be really tough to get the motivation to ask. However, this isn't a hard rejection. It sounds polite and direct, which is a great thing regardless of the direction. Continue with it. There's nothing wrong with continuing to crush on her, but at least now you nothing will come of it. You can keep looking out for "other fish in the sea". Good luck and happy New Year's.

Because polyamory isn't about sex. Swingers are about sex. It's not going to work if you both have different intentions. Good luck and have fun.

"So you think you're ugly. You're the only one." Welp, I figured others didn't like my looks; seems I was right. {end sarcasm}Thanks for the link.

That's really childish if you cannot have a reasonable conversation about expectations and relationship status. When I say "relationship status", understand I am meaning relationship, whatever that may be: one night stand, friends with benefits, long-term relationship, platonic, etc. Though most seem not to be in agreement with me, I think it's not a good thing to avoid talking, at least so people are on the same page.

That was very humble of you. There is one thing I am curious about; did you check out how their relationship was constructed or did you assume that she was cheating on her boyfriend? They may have been in an open relationship, a polyamorous relationship, or any other shade of non - monogamy. In that case I think it off fine if she wanted to do anything with you. If she was doing this behind her boyfriend's back, that is foul and she is a horrid person. Regardless, it sounds like you wouldn't hav…

If you aren't one hundred percent certain she is fucked up and doesn't just want physical connection right now, talk to her while you are over. Make it clear to her what your intentions are and find out what her intentions are. Sometimes you meet the right people at the wrong times of life. And follow /u/Tundreo and his #1 rule.

They may feel objectified. It depends on the situation, timing, connection and other things like that. Just understand that you are playing with fire doing this thing as it can definitely work. You'll have to accept that you may pour accelerant on a fire doing this as well and be able to accept when things don't go this smoothly. Note that I'm a dancer by hobby and seduction is secondary. Seduction I think of in terms of a psychological warfare/game where I win every time I play; the fundamental…

Be honest and forward about it. If she is worth your time, she will understand and possibly be more interested that you actually care about your health, and her's (by being safe with previous/alternate partners). Basically, if you are an adult, you probably have an understanding that safety is important before fooling around. I have papers to show my cleanliness and any of my partners respect and encourage this in like.

Be careful about wanting to having a sexual vibe. It can backfire on you and turn you'll be as unavailable as you without a sexual vibe. Basically, don't make this your persona; you need to be able to switch it on and off as needed.

Learn some partner dancing. As for solo: repetition is key; if it feels goofy, do it again, and if you have any semblance of musicality (almost everyone does), you will know when to change your repetition.

I'd say that if you're having trouble establishing connections, then critically analyze your body language and intonation. A YouTube video was recently published that show this very issue with delivery. Same words, both were a dating site video, but the people were positively influenced by the halo effect when he was upbeat and physically open.

Hi. I'm poly. Once I stopped trying hard to seek out sex and instead focus on doing what I wanted (aka, relaxing and having a good time) I found this part of my life so much easier. I've been approached about mutual attraction quite a bit lately and it still has me boggled that I don't even have to initiate things anymore.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
