My ex wife is currently $32000 behind on her court ordered child support. Local enforcement office says "there's nothing we can do"They can suspend her license, so if she gets caught speeding or something she gets caught finally. I'm not sure if you need an address for that or not. Good chance they have her license from Texas on file at the enforcement agency. I'm not sure how it helps crossing state lines though. My dad went to jail for it after getting caught with a suspended license, plus non payment of child support. Really screwed up his record, but that's the price you pay for not taking care of your kids. Doesn't hel… | /r/MensRights | 16/05/14 06:02 AM
8 Reasons Why I Can't Stand Modern-Day FeministsI'm not saying people can't choose traditional roles for themselves if that's their desire...its more about being aware that these roles in society exsist and figuring out how they effect you as well as not imposing them on others. It surprises me everyday how many people can't see this in their lives. My dad always punished my brother more harshly because 'he was a boy and could handle it'. He puts the same practice in place for dogs...its strange to see. Male dogs get more punishment than fema… | /r/MensRights | 15/07/13 02:33 AM
Male privilege.I often credit this to being the key to equality. The "man box" is an awesome speech by Tony Porter talking about some of these issues. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/13 01:54 AM
8 Reasons Why I Can't Stand Modern-Day FeministsThat may be true, and unfortunately most of the feminist I know have no interest in positions like that. I am working on a website for teens explaining gender narratives and how we should get rid of them for the sake of men and women. This includes princess complexes, and such. If I hear one more person tell me to let a guy handle the heavy lifting when I'm not stuggling with it, or that taking trash out is a mans job I might smack them. Not really but its tempting. It will have male and female … | /r/MensRights | 15/07/13 01:50 AM
8 Reasons Why I Can't Stand Modern-Day FeministsIt offends me greatly that she would call herself a feminist...that closed minded and intitled attitude cause some of the greatest problems in the world. Let me guess?? She also thinks she deserves to be treated like a princess...fuck that noise. | /r/MensRights | 14/07/13 11:47 PM
8 Reasons Why I Can't Stand Modern-Day FeministsI wouldn't classify a woman with those view points as a feminist...its sad that it's the stereotype. I don't know feminist like this, but I know a lot of women like this. I'm always the first to call them on their bullshit. I consider it one of feminisms biggest concerns, and its something I work with people on consistently. I wouldn't cut someone off for being that way though I may spend less time around them. My mother is this way, though she wouldn't classify herself as a feminist, and she's … | /r/MensRights | 14/07/13 09:46 PM
So I went to Planned Parenthood to get tested...My gyno has me call the lab a week after to get results...they only call if you need to come back in. Pretty standard for ladies I think. | /r/MensRights | 01/06/13 05:30 PM
Mom abandons kids for 11 years. No child support to the father. "Nothing illegal" Link to the story inside.Same here...if there was a female equivalent I'd be doing it too...obviously any kid of mine I'm going to have to pop out myself, so no mistaken parentage there. Similar situation I had a guy ask to see my id...to make sure I wasn't lying about my age. My reaction was, omg I have so much respect for you that I kind of want to get naked now. | /r/MensRights | 03/05/13 07:40 PM
Child given up without Father's consent...happy ending!I wonder if racism didn't also play a card...I mean he's military...should be pretty easy to track him down if they wanted to...but if the frame of thinking was white mormon family is superior to single black father it reeks of racial profiling. Glad the judge saw sense! | /r/MensRights | 03/05/13 11:36 AM
Feminism may be dead: 72 percent of Americans say they're not "feminists".This is why I keep telling everyone on here that I'm a feminist and a MRA...never really heard the term egalitarianism until recently but I guess I'm that too... | /r/MensRights | 03/05/13 11:07 AM
Child given up without Father's consent...happy ending!HuffPost later reported the child was back home with Achane, and all appeals to the judges decision had been dropped. | /r/MensRights | 03/05/13 04:33 AM
Mom abandons kids for 11 years. No child support to the father. "Nothing illegal" Link to the story inside. That's why I always tell guys, don't sign unless you are certain its yours and if it later shows its not be ready for the consequences. By signing your basically saying I'm adopting this kid. In ohio if you sign, and later find by paternity test its not yours you must prove who the correct father is and that he can provide for the child....if he is a bum on the street and you have a steady job you will still be responsible....otherwise you are stuck with the kid because you essentially adopted i… | /r/MensRights | 03/05/13 04:24 AM
Mom abandons kids for 11 years. No child support to the father. "Nothing illegal" Link to the story inside. In my state a paternity test is required unless the father voluntarily signs, or the couple is married. So if a woman walks in, and gives birth, she can't just name any guy. | /r/MensRights | 03/05/13 04:13 AM
| -1 | Nice to see some pushback against the feminists trying to take over the gaming / nerdy communityTony Porter, who is a man, has strong evidence otherwise. Watch the video and let me know what you think. I'd be happy to be proven wrong. | /r/MensRights | 29/04/13 01:54 PM |
Nice to see some pushback against the feminists trying to take over the gaming / nerdy communityI have been thinking about this a lot. I believe in true equality, and the equality groups are focused on the gay rights movement right now, which doesn't leave room for dealing with feminism or MRM. I subscribe to all of them I guess, in life and on reddit. I do get flack from extremist some time for it. I guess I identify with feminism because I work closest with women's domestic violence. I just believe the key to gender equality is removing gender sterotypes in men and women. So I apply it d… | /r/MensRights | 27/04/13 02:25 AM
| -1 | The Reason I'm unsubscribing from r/MensRightsThe oversimplification and stereotyping of how men and women think is part of the problem. The key to equality is to remove gender narratives from men and women. | /r/MensRights | 27/04/13 02:15 AM |
Nice to see some pushback against the feminists trying to take over the gaming / nerdy communityDefinition by webster: "the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes". There will always be extremist out there in any group of people. There is an awesome speech at TED Women by Tony Porter that I love. He basically says the key to gender equality is removing the man box. Meaning getting rid of sterotypes among men that perpetuate violent behavior. Same for women I think. I take equality pretty seriously I guess. For example, if a man ever proposed to me (which honest… | /r/MensRights | 25/04/13 04:46 AM
Nice to see some pushback against the feminists trying to take over the gaming / nerdy communityThat's a bunch of crap... those are the same people who say racism can't exist where white people are the victims. Feminism will only succeed when we stop putting men and women in "boxes"...getting rid of the gender narrative. | /r/MensRights | 25/04/13 04:35 AM
Nice to see some pushback against the feminists trying to take over the gaming / nerdy communityI definitely agree...my biggest problem as a feminist is running into women who don't think sexism happens on both sides. Or at least won't acknowledge it. | /r/MensRights | 24/04/13 04:13 AM
Nice to see some pushback against the feminists trying to take over the gaming / nerdy communityGuys may look, and sometimes make comments. Women molested me...I'm a woman who dressed up like Miyavi (japanese rock star). | /r/MensRights | 24/04/13 03:36 AM
