It's not really that uncommon. Unless you're dating church girls or something I guess. I'd rather not have to wait 3 weeks and have to meet her family first lol

Ya watching it again and now I think it is vai. The woman at the start who was like “aqui ta ah policia otaria” had me laughing lol

Sounds like it could be "Pai" instead of "vai" not sure tho

It's not cocky extroverted people. It's having social skills, and that is actually very valuable in an employee. Nobody works in a vacuum. And you can also have social skills and be introverted, it's not mutually exclusive.

The word will dry out in the next 3-4 months, then they'll move onto a new word like the sheep that they are. Unfortunately I have a feeling incel will be with us a lot longer than 3-4 months.

Honestly I've had the same conversation about Buzzfeed in another subreddit and the results were similar. People don't want to change their worldview so badly that they just ignore what someone is saying and downvote them instead of even doing cursory research to perhaps see if their worldview needs to be updated. Some subreddits are better than other when it comes to this though, especially "discussion-based" subreddits where the whole point trying to reassess your worldview.

It's true man. They have an actual investigative unit that does actual journalism. Here's an example of an article I thought was really good. Blew my mind when I realized it was Buzzfeed. Link: https://www.buzzfeed.com/heidiblake/from-russia-with-blood-14-suspected-hits-on-british-soil If you even do a cursory glance, notice that there is nothing in there about feminism at all.

Are you trolling? I'm genuinely asking because it doesn't seem like you are capable of acknowledging what I am saying. Let me try to go over it really simply and clearly. Here are OP's claims: 70% of prison inmates are raised by single mothers 70% of juvenile offenders are raised by single mothers 70% of drug addicts are raised by single mothers 71% of high school dropouts are raised by single mothers What was I saying in my original comment? Here's my quote, word for word "These aren't the same…

Your opinion on this issue is irrelevant to actual facts of the matter. Your source is not evidence for OP's claim. My opinion is irrelevant, you're right. Because that statement is a fact and bold letters and emphasis won't change what is fact. If you genuinely believe 70% of crime is because of single mothers, you're deluded. Explain why do we have less crime today, even though we have more single mothers than before? Of course, this is common knowledge but here's an article about the rise of …

According to the Single Parent Success Foundation, a national nonprofit that encourages educational opportunities for single parents: • 63 percent of suicides nationwide are individuals from single-parent families. • 75 percent of children in chemical dependency hospitals are from single-parent families. • More than half of all youths incarcerated in the U.S. lived in one-parent families as a child. These aren't the same stats OP posted and these also refer to "single-parent", meaning it could b…

It doesn't make sense to me either, /u/graciepie325 Then again, this country was founded on the assumption that all men were equal and yet had a legal institution of slavery. The mental game played is one I don't understand. One person can be morally right and totally reasonable in one regards to a certain topic, and then completely (and frighteningly) ignorant in another. It makes me wonder about what personal beliefs I have that could be completely wrong and I would have no idea.

If you didn't have eyes you wouldn't see color. Like you said, they're wavelengths.. Our brains turn those wavelengths into what we experience as color.
/r/TheRedPill24/11/15 06:18 PM

Color doesn't really exist, it's your perception of light. Altering your perception through chemicals changes how you process light. Is it a hard concept for you? Do you drink coffee? Smoke weed? Drink beer? Get off your high horse. Psychedelics are just another way to get a different perspective on the world.

The more you try to expect specific traits and qualities in a person the harder it will be to find that person. Remove expectations. Throw them out the window.

this is a 14 year old account that is being wiped because centralized social media websites are no longer viable when power is centralized, the wielders of that power can make arbitrary decisions without the consent of the vast majority of the users the future is in decentralized and open source social media sites - i refuse to generate any more free content for this website and any other for-profit enterprise check out lemmy / kbin / mastodon / fediverse for what is possible

I had sex for the first time. Been in three different relationships this year. Gained a lot of confidence and really matured a lot this year. I'm 17. My goals for 2012? To achieve autonomy. I'm saving up for my first car and going to start doing courses at a local community college. By the end of year I plan to be renting my own apartment. A roommate is allowed, but not ideal.

It's sort of like me asking a girl if I can feel up her breasts because I like fondling breasts. Sure, it could be completely innocuous, but you're crossing boundaries. Intimate situations are for intimate relationships. If you're going to be that vulnerable towards someone, why wouldn't you want to escalate the relationship? I have a feeling the OP is either insensitive to other people's feelings or has some insecurity issues. EDIT: On second thought, I suppose there is nothing wrong with it. Y…

No. Cuddling is reserved for intimate relationships. Intimate relationships are sexual relationships, except for family. (And even then, I wouldn't cuddle with family.)

Don't just step out of your comfort zone, run away from that bitch. The more you realize that a lot of your fears are bullshit, the more you'll get used to doing things you previously thought would be scary. Sort of like how building callouses on your fingers will help you play guitar, where it was painful at first.

Personally, I agree with OP's parents. When you're living with your parents, it isn't your own place. You shouldn't feel like it's your home. You're just living there until you get the resources to move out. Now, if you're paying rent it's different. But if you're just a dependent, you have to follow the rules they set, and if I was a parent I'd sure as hell make my rules a pain in the ass so the kid will move out as soon as possible. You don't want your kids to feel like they have a comfortable…

A girl who's attracted to you "emotionally" will also be attracted to you physically. This chick's not into you anymore, although she might have been at the start. There's no point in perpetuating a relationship just for the sake of perpetuating a relationship. If you really like her then show her that and be the best man you can be. If she still isn't attracted, then forget about her man. If worst comes to worst, you got all the time in the world to get with her later. (at least until one of yo…

HB4? I thought we stopped rating below 6. To clarify. HB -> Hot Blonde. As far as I know, I wouldn't call someone who I'd rate a 4 on a 1-10 a "hot blonde".

You're getting into the wrong mindstate. This isn't supposed to be a big deal. PUAs aren't "stone cold foxes". Quite the opposite, in fact. They're warm, friendly and honest. See, the problem is, in our society this has turned into a big deal. People don't want to get rejected, etc. Just put things into perspective and do what you want. You want to get with them? Just do what you think is best. No need to freak out, you're just doing what you want. If they end up rejecting you, fuck them. Somebo…

It's just approach anxiety. Do more approaches and relax, you'll be fine. Tell stories. For example, I'll tell people about the time I jumped out of a girl's window only to land on her dad's car, fucking up the hood(I was 17 at the time). I tell it in an exciting manner though. I generally try to stay honest, or at least close to honest, but sometimes I may exaggerate a few parts for the simple fact of keeping people entertained. Just tell stories that people would like to hear, and let the stor…

Woa there, these are just little tricks you can do to play around. It's not a routine. Doesn't even have to be on girls, could be a magic trick or some shit. I do the magic trick to my little cousins and it freaks them out. Neat little tricks man. Not routines. Chill out.
