I did this and I’ve been with my current man for 4 years. I got laid off an he is taking care of me without hesitation. He respects me always. He’s a good man.

I don’t have any issues with pursuing men, but the reality is that it just doesn’t work. I’ve tried. This post is 100% correct. Men don’t want a woman to initiate. I wish it wasn’t like that but it is.

I try to look at everything that’s gender biased and see it from the other side. You guys make a lot of assumptions about women here, which I think is the issue. For instance, a regular topic in general that comes up not just in conversation here is that women aren’t punished in the same way as men for many crimes, especially child abuse. I completely agree with that. No gender bias from me there. I am trying to come from a place of seeing both sides, because to me that’s the fair way to look at…

How do you guys know that those 2 children aren’t from a past long term relationship? There’s a lot of assumptions here. Some man made those children with her. What do you think about the fact that he also has two children and is back out in the dating pool?

A lot of poor people get married too. And I’m honestly not a gold digger. I don’t think like that and my friends aren’t like that. But ok.

Maybe you just attract people like that. My girl friends aren’t like that. My SO and I make around the same amount of money and we split things equally.

You really think most women are gold diggers?

So. Is every woman that had a relationship that didn’t work out but they have a kid from just trash? Why is it so bad to want to better yourself and not make the same mistakes over and over again? What about the men that have had the same thing happen to them? Do you think that’s its only women that date losers? I’ve definitely seen some woman on this sub that totally belong here, but not all of them.

I’m a woman and I also think it’s disgusting. All children should be protected from predators.

I am a woman who is very secure with herself. It isn't because I think I am perfect, it is because I have accepted myself as a whole person, flaws and all. I am well aware that it is much easier to pick up insecure women, and there are plenty of them around to do so with. Believe it or not though, not all women think they have to look like a model to have self worth.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
