Okay, but then you should see increasing sexlessness for women as well but it isn’t represented in the data. Your second link tries to make large claims based only on the percentage of women and men who were virgins after finishing high school. The touted 20-80 relation isn’t talking about the amount of sex, I don’t think. Just the amount of partners. Also I didn’t say partners because it feels awkward to talk about ”percent of partners”. One partner can be with multiple people. Sexual connections might be a better term. Anyway my point was that the data from the study doesn’t rule out the possibility of the 20-80 relation. In the same survey for 18-24 year olds 31% of men report no sexual partners in the past year versus 19% for women. (Full data for men estimated from graph: 31% = 0, 30% = 1, 16% = 2, 23% = greater than 3)(Full data for women estimated from graph: 19% = 0, 60% = 1, 8% = 2, 13% = greater than 3) The data is flawed though because you can’t know the average number of partners for the whole population.
