You complain about him for years on Reddit. You want this to continue for the following decades? Respect yourself and get out of that marriage

You never had him so you can’t loose him. Why do you want to be with a man who makes it so clear that he doesn’t want to date you. He only wants you for sex. Why would you let him treat you like that? Also ask yourself what happens if you end up becoming pregnant by him. Then you are completely alone and have to make major decisions that will impact your life all the decades to come. Why would you risk that?

If he has this level of anxiety he should see a therapist and deal with it there. You’re not his therapist and it’s unhealthy for you to be around someone like that. If he had any self respect he knew he shouldnt dump all this on you.

Im so sorry for what you went though. But I have to give you some words of encouragement and maybe offer some advice. It’s probably hard to believe but I was almost in the exact same spot as you when I was 18/19. during school no boys ever paid attention to me. I was always the „below average, awkward shy“ girl and it ate at my confidence. So when I first got into dating I was sooo eager to please and treat men nice and be the girlfriend they always dreamed to have. I didn’t voice my opinion and…

I personally don’t like starting as friends, especially closer friends. If you are just acquaintances i don’t see a probe. I tried it once but I felt it very difficult going from friend to boyfriend. It can end up feeling like a friends with benefits thing. You kind of lack this getting to know each other while falling in love stage. It can also feel like you already know this person now so the man doesn’t put in this initial effort. In his mind you are already close and the only added thing is …

Yeah I’m not able to understand that at all. She definitely wouldn’t want to pay for a single father and his kids so why should a man pay for her and her own child? She brings nothing to the table but a huge financial risk for the man

That’s exactly what I don’t get. Why have these high standards now but not before? You could have found yourself a nice husband and build a future with him and you could have children in a stable marriage but you choose being a single mom who thinks she can demand all kind of stuff

I think that also has to do with society telling women all the time that they can’t do no wrong and they “deserve” all the great things while never even considering what they have to offer in return. It’s such a tragedy. One would think these women cared enough to take advice from other women if they reject any advice from men but even as a woman you can’t help them. They call you a “pick me” and tell you that your husband is definitely going to abuse and that you will be a slave … I just can’t …

I am not on social media that much, especially Reddit. So I truly don’t know that much about this. But I occasionally read here and its just so mind blowing to me how so many women act nowadays. I can’t wrap my head around it sometimes. It’s a shame this stuff is tolerated and even celebrates in todays society. I hope more men will realize the power they hold and embrace their masculinity more. And thanks for the compliment 😊

I didn’t know if it would classify as rude if I guessed an even higher age. Some people on Reddit are really sensitive and call everything “bullying”

As a woman I can never understand this logic. Like you get knocked up by a random dude and now you want a another man to take care of you and the baby. And for this man you have these incredible high standards. But not for the man who impregnated you??? Like why would any man commit to her? 😅 on a side note she also looks about 35 when it comes to her face and hair style. Is this really that common? Has anyone ever met one of these women in real life? Are they the same there or is just online wh…

Oh these exact same comments I got. And from exactly the same type of women. It’s hard to not resent them now And thanks for the advice ♥️ I will try to guard my heart more and focus on my soon to be husband and our future. It’s way more important anyways

Thanks for the advice ♥️ I am trying to not take these comments to my heart anymore. in the end its my soon ti be husband and me who will share our lives and i should focus on that

I love that you didn’t get so much negative emotions regarding early marriage💕 Yeah I am really grateful to have already found my forever so young. I still can’t believe it sometimes. It’s just so rare here Exactly that’s my same opinion. I don’t understand this “live life” and “enjoy your typical university life”. I tried doing that for a few months and I was miserable. Thanks for the compliment and you advice 🌸 good luck in your marriage 😊

I also had friends talk to me really passively aggressive about this. I need to guard my heart more I think. The average age in my country where people marry is mid thirties now. So I’m more than a decade younger. I hope I can find more traditional women in my hometown 😊. Thanks for your advice

Thanks for your reply. I just wish I had some people in my life who live the same life as me and could relate. 22 years that’s amazing! 💕 I will try to rise above it and not feel ashamed anymore 😊 it’s going to be tough but I have to do it for my own well being

Thanks for your advice😊 I personally also don’t use Instagram a lot only for my university updates. I never got into this whole sharing my life with name, pictures and stuff. My boyfriend uses it also maybe for 10 min every day. If he was sharing his life on Instagram constantly I wouldn’t find that attractive as well.

It does occasionally bother me and I tend to spiral into things a lot. I‘m working on becoming more emotionally stable tho. I will try to get over it and trust my boyfriend more. Thanks for the advice regarding resentment. I should keep that in mind 😊

Thanks for the advice. After reading all these messages here I think I should just get over it and pt focus on it. I think that’s the best option 😊 I should probably get better at trusting my boyfriend

As a woman this is really hard for me to understand but I’m trying to accept that. I have just over a year now read more and more about this stuff and it makes a lot more sense

Thanks for your reply. You are quite right with the self sabotage. Having grown up with such a dysfunctional family I just never really know for sure whether I’m overreacting and blaming him for something he didn’t even do or if its reasonable. I’m probably going to get over this fact and not even look at his Instagram anymore. If he doesn’t give me sketchy vibes in real life I won’t sabotage this relationship by bringing up useless stuff. Thanks for your insight 😊🌺
/r/RedPillWomen19/08/21 02:13 PM

But of course you are right. He probably didn’t tell me this fact before because it would put him in a awkward position. I guess he was more scared that I would think he is weird and not normal because he didn’t have a girlfriend before. I mean there is a stigma against men like that. In his culture it is more normal to never have a girlfriend until you are married. So I didn’t think of it as manipulation. But more as if he was too embarrassed to bring it up too early 😊

I might have said that wrong. English isn’t my first language. He means that he thinks very highly of marriage and he thinks people shouldn’t throw away marriage as easily as they are and they should always stay committed and talk and solve their issues (unless abuse of course). That would mean that no one should cheat and if you start to fall out of love you should talk about it and try to fix the issue. I hope I could clear that up 😊

I get where you come from. I also felt very concerned about that fact that he never had a girlfriend before me. But he told me that months and months into us being a couple already. If he said that in the beginning I might have not committed to him just because of the same reasons you mentioned. We have talked about this issue though and he assured me he only wants to be with me and only me. So at this Point I have to believe him and trust him. He also recently found out his mother might be chea…

Oh I’m sorry to hear that. He personally doesn’t follow any women he used to date or anything. If it was his ex girlfriends I would be very annoyed as well. I just don’t know if it’s ok because he doesn’t know these women.

I explained it in a comment above 😊. I don’t have Facebook where our university gives updates but they joined Instagram a few months before the pandemic started. So I rather follow them on Instagram because I just find the app easier. I also never had Facebook but my mother has and I just don’t like it. So I only follow my university there. I mainly use YouTube and Pinterest as social media forms instead of Instagram. Im not being secretive I just don’t like sharing anything about me online wher…

Thanks for you opinion😊. Yes in real life I never had any off feeling about how he acts around other women. He is really shy and most of the time doesn’t even say anything. That’s also my mindset. I don’t want to create a problem where there isn’t one and then it ends up in him thinking he has to obey me and my commands

I personally just don’t want to open this whole possible argument if it is just a minor thing. I don’t want to act irrational and Crazy. I don’t have Male Friends to ask so I figured I could ask for some help here 😊

Thanks for your opinion. He doesn’t use it a lot so I feel like I shouldn’t be too harsh when he does use it. He posts maybe once a month. Sometimes he doesn’t post for a couple of months. If he was posting every single day that would be weird I think I can agree with you on that😊

It’s just something that makes me uncomfortable but I don’t know if it’s just normal or not. I don’t have Male Friends so I can’t ask them. But thanks for your opinion 😊

Im trying to think about it the same way as you. That’s why I didn’t bring it up to my boyfriend yet. I don’t want to be irrational and demand something that just isn’t realistic. I will think about it 😊

For my it’s more like the women who are athletes, celebrities and musicians with millions of followers would never reply to him if he privately messaged them. So there is no way he could communicate with them and possibly be unfaithful to me. With women who have only a few followers it’s more likely that they would message him back and stuff could happen. I’m generally quite scared of being cheated on as my mother cheated on my father for years even though he gave her everything.
/r/RedPillWomen19/08/21 06:40 AM

Thanks for your reply😊 I am just confused as to why he even follows these women. I don’t follow any male models at all. I’m not really jealous of these women. Im more concerned especially with the women who have only a few followers. If he messages them they might answer and maybe he would cheat? I do have to say I have a rather big fear of being cheated on because my father gave everything to my mother and she cheated on him for years. So that just scares me

I wasn’t sure if it is worthy to bring it up or if I would act irrational and childish and would make him feel like I restrict him too much

We never had a real conversation about it. When we started dating he messaged me his @ on Instagram but I didn’t check it out because we were talking a lot so I felt like I didn’t need any more information. He also told me he rarely posts there so I just forgot about it. I told him that I don’t use Instagram and only have an anonymous account for my university. He never asked for my @ and I never thought about sharing it because i didnt see a reason for it. Why would he want to follow an anonymo…

I also had that thought. That’s why I haven’t brought it up to him yet as I don’t want to act irrational about the issue. But as a woman I just sometimes worry about it. I don’t want to find out down the line that he is cheating on me

I only have an anonymous Instagram where I follow my university for updates regarding my studies, COVID and dead lines I need to keep In mind. My boyfriend and I don’t follow each other on Instagram. Thanks for your response as well 😊 I really appreciate all the different opinions. I am at this point where I have thought so much about it I don’t know whether I am reading too much into it😄. I have so many thoughts and can’t even seem to make a rational conclusion really. I tried to think about it the same way as you. Thanks for you response. I feel the same type of way like you. I also don’t think he is being hurtful intentionally to me because he probably forgot he even gave me his Instagram handle as I don’t have a personal Instagram Account and don’t follow anyone. Thank you for your response 😊 When we started dating he told me his @ on Instagram so I could see some pictures. But I never got around to actually check it out because I only have a anonymous Instagram account for my university updates and I don’t follow anyone there. I can totally understand how you would be feeling „left out“ and „behind“. If you generally want to have a relationship I don’t think there is anything wrong with specially seeking a relationship. Maybe you could check out some church events if you are more religious. There you could probably find more likeminded people who want a long term relationship and marriage. If you aren’t too religious I think it would help if you join some classes for hobbies or things you are interested in and meet so…

My boyfriend works full time and I’m im just a student right now. I would feel very bad if I make my boyfriend do half of the housework even tho he works full-time. I would assume my work lord with studies is around part time. So it would just be really unfair to ask my boyfriend to mop the floor after he comes home from a 8-9 h work day. On some days I work full time as well and I feel exhausted and definitely don’t want to deep clean. But that’s only once or twice a week. Also my boyfriend pay…

Ah i get it now. I was probably too harsh on him regarding that. In the end you have to ask yourself if you would be ok with waiting for him to settle his career and then possibly commit to you. But again it wouldn’t be guaranteed. Best outcome would be you wait and he commits to you. Worst outcome you wait for some years and he doesn’t commit. I don’t really understand why he can’t commit to you and settle his career. If he is so set on settling his career and no relationship why would he even …

I would first look into the financial security aspect especially regarding their future income and investments. We all know money will make your life more comfortable. Then try to really look for a genuine connection by asking deeper questions more early on. That way you will see quicker whether you will be compatible in the Long run. Maybe get a feeling of who he surrounds himself with and try to get enough information to make an educated decision. I mean you are in a very unique position there…

What I (23f) have learned after dating and now being with my boyfriend (wanting to get married) is that if it’s the „right guy“ you wouldn’t be questioning anything. He would show you what you mean to him and be with you. That’s probably not what you wanted to hear. But I have been in the same situation as you and it’s Hard but in general I believe that we should look at people’s actions rather than their words. Even if he had a rather stressful weekday he could still make some time for you. Tha…

I think you can go out on dates and get to know different women. I think it’s also really difficult to find suitable women for you (I assume you want a traditional woman). I’m a woman in university in Germany right now and let me tell you it’s difficult to find people who don’t drink, Party and have ONS or F+. I am even in a traditional subject (law) where you would assume more traditional men and women are but no. It’s really difficult to find traditional people. So I would assume it’s going to…
