The jail wouldn’t even accept the booking without that signed off. Maybe try knowing about a topic before you try to spout nonsense to people who actually do the work. 🤷🏾 just an idea.

My lord. Do you work for this department? Do you have a copy of their policies and MOUs with the DAs office? When I was on patrol there’s no way I’d be able to book this without a prosecutor looking at it. Just because something can generally be done legally doesn’t mean your department allows it by policy.

If they are arresting her for DUI they must do an inventory search before they can tow the vehicle. Tow company won’t take it anyways. Pretty standard case law. She could’ve refused to do the field sobriety test but she didn’t. Not exactly what you think the lawyer is going to be able to suppress.

In the US Roadside breathalyzers typically aren’t admissible in court. They are more for getting a general idea of how drunk the person might be or if they are impaired due to another factor (pills/medical condition). The station/detention facility will have the certified breathalyzer that is admissible in court. Much bigger machine that is regularly calibrated and maintained.

Antiperspirant stops you from sweating from your armpits...deodorant is for the smell. If it has aluminum it is probably an Antiperspirant. Most deodorants don't have it.

No. He's a detriment to the force and I wouldn't trust him as my partner. He exhibited no control over an assaultive person and allowed her to hit him a second time. Especially as a Sgt he should have his shit together. That shit gets other people hurt. He earned that second hit.
