There are lots of women who post about their amazing boyfriends and husbands, you just don't focus on those do you? You focus on the one's that post self-owns on social media and you broaden those to represent the entire populace. Perhaps you have a confirmation bias I'm a young woman on social media and I don't fall for fuckboys. Nor do I think that doing so is "so me", nor do I believe that "we" are all like that. I think that may be a trend with stupid women with low self esteem, but there ar…

You just proved my point didn't you? You are so weak and easily offended by my mere words, how are you going to protect me from burglars and invaders?

Who the heck is "chad"? There are billions of people in the world, it's stupid to lump them all into two or three categories. Only like 10 percent of men are the type to party every week and slut around, and most women avoid them and call them "fuckboys" and don't even consider dating them. The way you look at the world is unhealthy, life is not black and white.

Yes, that's usually the deal in those relationships. However, if the old man has none of those things that would attract a lady, it's probably that he's negging her or exploiting some mental weakness.

Attraction is attraction. A woman could still marry a rich old man if she doesn't want to work, and then cheat on him with a hot young bartender and take half his money in the divorce. It would be nice if men still had that "protector" mentality, but in the west, most men don't have that. Truthfully, most men don't know how to command respect and wouldn't be brave enough to fight off burglars or invaders.

You're right about that. I live in a western country (Canada) so I only have the perspective of my own culture. Women here are very liberated and life is generally viewed as safe and well-ordered and women often outperform men in certain industries. Also, the men here in general are not seen as very strong and dominant perhaps as men from non-western countries are. We see men and women as equally strong and capable of thriving. Women don't have the need for men as "protectors" here. Although I s…

I don't think it has anything to do with "resembling" their fathers/mothers, it's about a sense of familiarity and comfort. Security is only an attractive characteristic to a woman if that woman lacks or has lacked security in her own life. Women who are stable and secure are often looking for a man their own age who they start a family with and go on that journey with together. Wealth indeed is a point of attraction, but that's called a 'sugar' relationship, not a romantic relationship, and the…

Can someone walk me through what it looks like for an older man to prey on a younger woman? You're literally asking for tips on how you can prey on a younger woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/21 09:46 PM

"Can someone walk me through" Lol, are you looking for lessons? Why don't you go do some research on Jeffrey Epstein and see what you can find. The only reason a young woman would be genuinely attracted to an old man is if he is wealthy or powerful. If he is neither, I think everyone knows that there is manipulation afoot.

When a girl or young woman grows up with a troubled or non-existent relationship with her father, she may subconsciously seek the approval and affections of older men her fathers' age in substitute of that parental bond. She may also seek out relationships with inappropriate or problematic men specifically in the hopes of pissing off her father. A girl with daddy issues usually lacks a proper model for what a healthy relationship is like, and often finds herself falling into unhealthy patterns.

"plenty of girls find the experience, independence, and solidity of an older man attractive" That's called daddy issues.

Because the old creep has no intention of wifeing her and starting a family with her, while a young man very well may. He wastes her time.

I also think we should tell women to be careful when they go to bars or go to hang out with men drinking. The reality is that in general women can't take their alcohol as well as men and there are many men who take advantage of drunk women. Of course women and men should have the same freedom to do as they please, but it'll only hurt women if they believe they exist in this naive reality where nothing bad can happen to them. I'd gladly offend a million feminists if meant saving one girl from har…

Actually it's pretty sympathetic towards men. The qualities I'm looking for are the qualities of a "patriarch", which are rare in modern men, even in your so-called "alpha" dudes.

I guess we can agree to disagree. In my mind, the kind of man that would marry a former prostitute has got to be the kind of man that doesn't have a lot of options and is desperate (or has gotten her pregnant, which I have seen with sugar babies). I can't see a really decent alpha male kind of man thinking that a woman like that would be an acceptable woman to make the mother of his children, but not every man is an alpha. I wouldn't say that's what I would call having her cake and eat it too, b…

Do you know how many people you have to impress and get along with in order to be a millionaire? I don't know if you've met many CEOs but they're some of the kindest, most honorable men there are - much more than your average man in jobs like bartending. You have to be a man people respect in order to build a company that is successful, otherwise no one would want to work for you and you wouldn't get anywhere. Lots of respectable men are not millionaires, but ambitious people DO have goal posts …

Do you know that young men from millionaire and billionaire families are often made to choose a wife from binders full of profiles of women the family considers acceptable? All these women come from good families and are carefully vetted. A single smear on the family can damage their social standing forever. I'm sure you know what a respectable man is. And I think you're the one living in a fantasy land - if you have the correct perspective, then why don't wealthy men just go to strip clubs and …

True I guess. Though I find that most men are workaholics and spend their 20s grinding to build a business, and then start looking to settle down in their 30s. Plus they're very careful with spotting gold diggers and "go-getters" - one friend of mine refuses to let women near the used condoms and makes a girl brush her teeth after she gives him oral sex because he heard of a billionaire who was locked into child support because a woman give him a blowjob and saved his sperm to impregnate herself…

Sex workers have a shelf-life. Demand dwindles out with age. Would you suggest that a career that will dry out by the time you're 35 is better than having a stable and steady partner who will care for and protect you for your entire life?

It's hard to come into contact with upper class men if you come from a lower class background where there aren't any in your immediate circle. Plus, it's hard to approach men or women nowadays even if you are attracted. I worked as a hostess at a high end restaurant where I came into contact with a lot of wealthy men. A lot of men made "eyes" at me, but few went beyond that. Sometimes I'd get into a conversation with one of them, only for their friends to step in, or a manager to step in, or a w…

Not everyone gets the same hand of cards, but you have to play with the cards that you've got. I was born into an abusive home and was orphaned as a teenaged. I've been poor all of my life and I still struggle to get by. But, I'm a pretty woman. I've had chances with wealthy men who have offered to give me the world - but spending my life with a man I don't love seems like slavery to me. I'd rather be poor and good than rich and a gold-digger.

No, things will get worse. No matter how much women say they want "equality", almost every woman wants to date "up" (i.e. date a man who makes more money than them, has a higher status, is dominant, etc). Also, if everything was perfectly 50/50 and both spouses work full time, who would take care of the kids? I don't think it's ideal to throw every child in daycare its whole life. Ideally, one parent would stay home with it for at least the first few years, and that means one sex sacrificing the…

Yes, you're proving my point. I think it's extremely heroic that men have decided that they will take the responsibility of fighting in war so the women and children be safe. It says a lot about the honor and heroism of men that they had banned women from such dangerous jobs too. What would you say about your husband if he made you carry all the groceries everyday or go clear a wasps nest while he stayed inside? That's not the kind of man I want, but to each his own. As for female firefighters? …

If her fashion and personal style involves clothes that reveal her body then all power to her. Other women follow fashions and personal styles that are less sexualizing, that's fine too. You want me to acknowledge that you have a different point of view, but you're not stating another point of view. All you're saying is that women don't think about whether what they're wearing is slutty/revealing, and that's just not true. "Do men deserve less respect for toplessness as well?" Yes. I already said this. I would give a man in a suit more respect than a man topless with flip flops. Of course everyone deserves to be treated decently, but I would be more likely to respect the opinions of the former man than the latter. Respect is earned, it's not automatic. I don't respect drug addicts either, fwi. "Even more fucked up that you bring up a woman who has recently been fucking shot. Let me guess, she deserved it for how s…

Lol we are not talking about worldviews on religion or philosophy. We are talking about common experiences and knowledge that all women have. There is no woman on earth who does not understand the inherent sexuality of parts of her body, and there is no woman on earth who does not understand the basic nature of certain interactions with males. With regards to this specific question, there is not a woman on earth that would be surprised if she sees a man looking at her breasts.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/20 06:45 PM

You're lying though. We both know that when women wear slutty clothes we do so because we WANT to wear slutty clothes, not because we have no other option for hot weather. That's exactly the question that OP brought up, yet you're trying to shame him for it and tell him he's wrong when he's actually right.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/20 06:25 PM

haha no, It's definitely not biology, it is still very much a choice. I can see how it would be confusing for a male when a woman says she isn't wearing revealing clothing to get attention, but it's a lie.

Well, we are.... why are you trying to deny it? If I dress with lots of cleavage I KNOW men are going to be looking at my cleavage, so the only reason I would do that would be because I want men to look. There are plenty of ways to dress for the weather that aren't needlessly revealing. It's pretty obvious that women who dress in a slutty manner are doing so on purpose, and I don't think it's out of line for men to treat them with less respect than a woman who dresses modestly. We're not talking…

No, you're just being difficult. It's pretty obvious that it is a lie when women say they only wear revealing clothes because of the weather. We both know this. We all know (men and women) that you can dress for the weather and not reveal your body, and we all know that it is clearly a choice for a women to dress provocatively, even if it's a hot day. You're the only one who is lying because you refuse to admit these truths.

There are plenty of ways to dress for hot weather that don't involve revealing your breasts or ass. Dressing in a slutty manner is clearly a choice. (I'm a woman. Stop harassing this innocent man and take ownership of your choices)
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/20 05:36 PM
2

You're right about everything OP. Dressing in slutty clothes is a conscious choice, there are always conservative options for the heat. Maybe you're getting insulted because lots of women don't like being held accountable for their own choices and prefer to call you sexist. (I'm a woman btw)

I think many men are actually peacocking or showing off their bodies when they walk around topless. Those that work hard at the gym want to show their bodies off to attract women (and shame/compete with other males). The same can be said for women, because you can obviously dress for the heat without wearing revealing clothes. When a woman dresses in a way that reveals her breasts, it's because she wants people to look at them. Also, the implications of a man walking around topless and a woman w…

There are ways to keep cool on a hot day that are sexy but also classy. I think there is absolutely no reason to dress slutty other than a desire to dress slutty. However many women these days don't know how to dress themselves and they think to be sexy they have to be revealing. I'm a woman and I think it's great that we can wear whatever we want, but I harshly judge women who dress in a trashy manner, and I hate seeing young girls dressed like sluts (I always wonder; where are their fathers?)

We all still value a man who would be able to provide financially so we can stay home and take care of our children for at least the first few years. It's extremely hard for a woman to give up her child to strangers at a daycare 6 weeks after giving birth in order to go back to work.
