The only comment is "gay". That's not a step in the right direction.

If we need it so much why do they need continual awareness campaigns to remind people that they need it?

Could we just set the default top comment on every post to "because feminism"? That would save a lot of time.

Just ask managment to take it down. If they don't call OSHA and the city building inspector. It's not legal to have a business with no bathroom.

People who don't know what the MRM is. They will show up to see what its actually about.

This is good news. If network tv is going to talk about MRA's its going to get very crowded around here. I hope they pay Anita all the YouTube cash she deserves.

The whole comment is about how MR is relevant through the lens of what it means to women. MR is not about how men have issues if its okay with women.

If your opting out aka going your own way you don't have to defend it and nobody can stop you. A good many people will try and fool you into believing that isn't the case though. Hence you get all this shaming from those that want to keep the walking ATM's on the plantation.

I have a suggestion OP. Make an MRA account and go make this post over on r/feminism from the MRA perspective. When your post gets deleted and that account gets banned you will still be able to post in this thread. That's why men's rights isn't a collaboration with feminist subs.

He said older American women. Someone else interjected feminists. You are trying to attach "war on women". It's popular around here to attach huge generalizations to someone else's unrelated conversation.

If this whole thread isn't an MGTOW trolling MRA's thread I will be disappointed. As for notoriety I don't care that /Mr has shifted towards not liking the MGTOW crowd. Limiting my exposure to real and horrible possibilities has been great for my life.

Isn't that a funny truth. Yet on the other end of the spectrum when feminists want to protest something like the Warren Farrell talks they have no problem showing up in angry mobs willing to scream at men physically abuse men and disregard the police by blocking access to a public building.
/r/MensRights08/07/13 10:23 PM

I was thinking something similar. Get an MGTOW to moderate they generally dislike both groups. Though I don't think many of them would be interested.

That's been my experience in dealing with feminists. Unless of course you only repeat what they say. Then its okay but your probably just agreeing to get laid so your probably a rapist.

Can someone fill me in on the connection and point of atheism on reddit, atheism plus and all these "rational" thought sites. They all come off to me as places for people who think they know better than everyone else to have flame wars with eachother. Yet they all have the same overtone of superiority complex mixed with liberal politics. What's the point aside from lots of arguing?

Quit helping with that crazy woman. Look at starting a small business. You can get by contracting and working independant IT contracts. I have a friend who has a jail record that's what he did. It's probably either that or beg to he a janitor at a factory.

There's no reason for a safe word with plain regular sex. Hey get off me I'm not into this anymore. That's the safe word for regular sex. Safe words are for sex where screaming and pain are part of the fun. I have no freaking clue on these crazy situations consent is a second by second thing that can later be revoked and there's no way to prove anything wasn't consensual. I hope I'm never in that situation. It's a scary thought.

Everyone has a take so far on what herbivore men and MGTOW men are. The significant thing to note is that both groups represent a growing segment of men who do not find traditional relationships with women to be a realistic option anymore. In Japan the trend is noted in news articles as a problem because they already have declining birth rates as a nation. Here its not as bad yet.
/r/MensRights11/04/13 10:41 AM

That's exactly where I'm going with this. The generalized complaining that something is the fault of feminists doesn't do much. Identifying and working directly against the groups and policies that create and enforce discrimination is much more effective.

We laugh at the ridiculousness of some things feminists blame male patriarchy for on this sub. /r/MensRights28/03/13 04:54 PM

I'm not agreeing 100% with anyone but this sub has taken a turn towards lots of generic bitching and pointing fingers at unspecified feminists instead of proposing solutions to problems. General discussion about problems in society makes sense but when every other comment just blames feminism I think the possibility of constructive results goes down.

Because every other classroom on campus is full of men who stop women from achieving higher learning? Is this in response to some problem? Do the other English classes grade women more harshly than men? In a world where things are done as a response to fix a problem there would have to be more story behind this.

That's one of the strangest social justice warrior causes I've ever seen. I can see that its not nice to shame fat people but I'm gonna get my advice about diet and exercise goals from a medical professional, not some pseudo expert on social causes from SRS. What could be more practical than that? If you have concerns about maintaining a healthy weight talk to your doctor. If you want someone to tell you that your body image issues are because of neckbeards and patriarchy go to SRS I suppose.

They used to curb that a little bit since it was free advertising for men's rights. They still hate the liberal Democrat guys but less than others. As long as a guy is promoting liberal self hating pro feminist nonsense he can be around "educated" feminists. They still hate him though. If he were to stop helping them they would forget he ever existed in a heart beat. This is true of most male female relationships though.

If you look through against men's rights its all misquoted titles from here or posts to highlight the worst out of context quotes from comments here. It's the same Shit as SRS and mostly viewed by SRS folks. You were wasting your time and energy posting there. People who have nothing constructive to say spend a lot of time saying everyone else is wrong.

I'm far more worried about fathers constantly getting screwed by family court and boys falling beind in education than objectification in advertising. I understand its an issue but men and boys face some very serious discrimination that should be mentioned first. It's good that you feel the spirit of cooperation OP. Feel free to check out the side bar and fire away if you have questions. This is a very open and tolerant community of people who support human rights for everyone.

They are a troll community that gets its kicks from annoying others and living in theirlittle cencorship bubble. There's nothing new or interesting about them banning people for no reason. Feeding internet trolls has nothing to do with men's rights.

I had a hard time understanding the intent of the MRM for a while. The knee jerk reaction is that feminism is equality and anything to the contrary is oppressing women. The MRM is full of people who support equality and want to see positive changes for both genders. The amazing thing is that this idea is so radical many people instantly oppose it and want to stop it. That's how deeply ingrained peoples feelings about feminism and gender roles are. Only women can care, only women can be victims, …

It's not a big deal, deleting it is probably for the best though. The discussion of it at againstsrs should be funny.

This is funny but it has nothing to do with /MR. This just perpetuates the idea that /MR circle jerks over every SRS misadventure.

Hey I think I found one of the good feminists. She mentions femen which for anyone who doesn't remember is the feminist organisation that shows a banner of a woman holding bloody severed testicles on their home page. Yup she's the NAFALT example our white knights keep searching for. Oh and her statement that stopping violence against women helps men is great. Ahh feminism, the idea that helping one gender is equality for both.

Hey OP just guessing from the post and your user name that you're a bit down about things. Don't worry so much about it. I get the point you're making. It's a totally valid point too so thank you for putting the work into that post. The problem that I have is that the quotes are from SRS and /MR already has identity issues from proximity to their trolling. They may be easy pickings to screen shot man hating but a good portion of reddit already thinks we're /r/SubredditDrama fodder for our constant dealings with those fools. I just cringe a little anytime I see additional references to them on /MR.

It looks like a lot of the obvious answers have already been tossed out. You might find the podcast at a voice for men .com interesting. The host, JTO is one of the more outspoken voices in the MRM. His guests usually include people like girlwriteswhat who others mentioned earlier for her youtube channel. As far as getting the message out to other people all I can say is that it's tough. The MRM exists almost entirely online at this point. Even simple acts like putting up posters or attending a …

The usual feminist reply is that womens issues are much more important right now and they need to be dealt with first. Then some shaming language gets thrown in to shut you up. (Rape is a huge problem for women. How can you be mainsplaining to feminists about what they should be doing when 4 out of every 1 women get raped every five minutes! You're obviously a rape apologist!) I'm making fun of feminist arguments there but the truth isn't far off. Asking them for any proof that feminism helps me…

That's what I mean. It's been more than a month since that shooting. The clock is ticking before those guys go from positive male role models to possible pedophile rape monsters. It only takes one bat shit crazy mom crying about her kids safety before the disposable males are no longer acceptable.

I'm surprised that some mother wasn't screaming at the school board about this. Sooner or later some mother is going to decide her kid can't be left with a bunch of potential pedophiles and that will be the end of that.

Keep some perspective here. Those comments are all from SRS. They're trolls who look like feminists and maybe some of them are. For the most part though they are just trolls. One subreddit constantly making angry threads about another subreddit amounts to nothing more than pointless internet drama. Which is exactly what SRS thrives on.

I was going to comment on the irony of that. She's in a position of power as a college professor indoctrinating students with sexist beliefs. Yet at the same time claiming women are blameless because they're powerless. That's the same feminist logic that denies a voice to any men's issues while at the same time saying men don't need a voice in equality because feminism takes care of that.

This is the same old no true scotsman argument. Women and white knights keep trying to define what a man is. At this point I find these statements on par with feminism is equality as far as BS statements go. This will just get more out of touch with reality as time goes by.

Alight here's the non lawyer up advice I can give. Document everything that was said to you. Get a recording app or recorder to record phone calls. Do not engage anyone involved. Lawyer up advice: Go get a lawyer. This is some pretty flimsy shit that something 20 years ago is just now coming to light. I only have second hand stories but I've heard plenty of them. You may also want to add in cases where. Child support has to be paid past the child's 18th birthday because friend of the court doesn't send the release of child support letter on time. I've heard this can sometimes take 2 years. Friend of the court has fathers arrested for non payment of CS by mistake which results in them not being able to pay CS the next month.

I doubt this will stop now that you're home. Now that she's 100% sure she can get away with verbally and physically abusing you with the consent of the law it's just going to get worse. You can always reconcile later but for your own safety you may want to move out and get a lawyer. Get out of the situation for a while before deciding how bad you want to go back to that.

Is this post an advertisement for AMR and manboobz? I'm confused about OPs intent in making this post. Is this post circle jerk material for subreddit drama to laugh at or is this an advertisement for the manboobz blog? Either way this shit isn't relevant to /MR at all.

SRS is a group that exists to be offended by individual comments and posts on reddit. Starting a thread about a racist joke is their bread and butter. Their community spends a great deal of time assigning imaginary levels of blame and privilege to internet comments according to their own internet social justice ideals. That's not what men's right's is about. If you look in the sidebar or at past posts it's clear that men's right's supports fathers regardless of race already. That SRS post is an …

I think it's already been overused to the point of ridiculousness. It only takes a small bit of reading feminist discussion before you see how badly they watered down the term. It's like the SRS fools calling everything ACTUALLY HITLER or any of their other idiotic baby talk. Dictionary definition: Misogyny = hatred of women and girls. Feminist definition: Misogyny = Anything I don't like associated with men. Let them overuse the word. To anyone paying attention it just puts a big flag on their …
