I admittedly read "The Game of Desire" last year. I'd flipped through it briefly n a book shop and thought some of the quizzes might be entertaining. Like what the actual fuck?

Good on you for forming stronger boundaries! People who don't respect you aren't worth the time and energy you put it. I'm still in the process of getting better at immediately cutting off people like that. There was a "friend" I had for over a decade, and she only texted me when she wanted something. She invited me to her birthday party last year. I brought a gift and she tore me down twice in front of everyone else. Deleted her from all social media without an explanation.

If there's any doubt in your mind that he cares, then he's not worth it. Don't pursue or coax a straight answer from him. (I'm 100% guilty of this btw.) Block and delete. Is this early on in dating? Keep yourself busy to avoid becoming too emotionally attached. Date multiple men at once. Maybe also consider not dating during the pandemic if you feel like it has affected you psychologically.

Tooting my own horn here, but I don't care. I can be very witty and engaging, and the only men I've had great "chemistry" with (in the sense that they could keep up with me) so far have been high functioning psychopaths. I'm not sure what that says about me. I've also only felt an electric feeling with them. Some men can keep up in the beginning, but I have a tendency to make most men (who are interested in me) "melt" or glitch a bit. 😂 It's not that I can't be socially awkward at times, but I'v…

Weird thought, but I want to meet a man who meets my standards and looks at me like this: A softening of the eyes, with relaxing of muscles around the eye and a slight defocusing as the person tries to take in the whole person is sometimes called doe eyes, as it often indicates sexual desire, particularly if the gaze is prolonged and the pupils are dilated. The eyes may also appear shiny. Quoted from a site about body language. It's something I've seen consistently in men who are very attracted …

My interpretation is that we shouldn't lower ourselves by tearing other women down, especially for a man whose ego inflates from the conflict. It's not a good look. That doesn't mean we have to be pushovers or balls of sunshine.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
