This is the student union, NOT the university that has banned them. If you've ever worked with a student union before, you wouldn't be surprised by the extreme lack of logic they can show.

Every Guardian reader I know treats the feminist articles on the Guardian as a joke and thus no attention is paid to them.

The Guardian is known to employ several Feminist crackpots. IMO it severely hampers their reputation and acceptance of all aspects of their reporting, not just what the Feminists report on. I love some of the reporting in the Guardian, but it's hard to take other stories seriously when you read something like this.

There's a much better article at the Guardian: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/may/15/carlos-texas-innocent-man-death And discussion: http://www.reddit.com/r/TrueReddit/comments/tnyvc/the_wrong_carlos_how_texas_sent_an_innocent_man/

This happens in all sports with any physical element. The world no. 1 woman squash player, Nicol David, lost to effectively a very good male club player in Singapore.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
