TROs in Illinois are a civil matter, and do not show on a criminal background check. Source: Ex's attorney uses them as "negotiating tactics" and I got one filed against me, was dismissed. You can still see it in the family court records, but never shows in criminal background checks, but it's also not expungable.

These are all questions for an attorney who practices in the jurisdiction where your daughter resides. That being said if the personal paternity test is positive, you will need a court order to get an official paternity test performed, and then everything that follows will be an issue for the lawyers.
