Oneitis is actually the same as a drug addiction. I recall there being a study that when a couple breaks up, or is separated, the chemical reactions are the similar to drug withdrawals. Once I understood my issue with an Ex like this, I treated it as the disorder it was.

PM me where you are at, if it is the same or near I will let you know.

This, that's why I gave her the choice. If she really did not want to have sex or be sexually intimate, she would've opted for the guest bed. Secondly, she doesn't want to feel used.

Yea I know right? This is my last semester, I am only taking four courses. I already have a job lined up, I've been making a concerted effort to get out more and meet more people and women. I wouldn't say the key was being straight forward with my intentions. To be honest sex wasn't my primary intention when I went back inside to meet up with her, though I definitely made sure it was on the plate. I think my biggest success here was escalating the physical intimacy and building rapport. This lai…

I think this video highlights a fundamental lack of understanding of statistics. Relating this to seduction. It's not a 50-50 shot, but the bet is much better for men. The stakes; I get to hangout/talk with some girl and have a fun 1/2 hour to night (depending on your success at escalating, of which I have had none so far lol). As long as you are a reasonable person, there is LITERALLY nothing to loose except your pride. So it really comes down to being comfortable with yourself.

This, 0 success, but I don't care. I have the most fun and talk with the most women when I'm alone. I find not having the security blanket forces me to branch out and meet new people.

I should note, if college isn't your thing, go to trade school, they make bank too.

Your problem; no job, no degree. Go out and build a life for yourself. Who would want to share their life with a person who doesn't have one?

The first step to being the best version of yourself is making your own map to success; What is important (BE SPECIFIC) is it a job? Car? Reading? whatever it is, set time aside and do it Start working out, or start dieting, don't do both at the same time (much harder). Once you have one habit established, start the other habit (for me I'm working out, starting to improve my eating now) Make a list of your priorities, part of being the best you is knowing what you want, then figuring out how YOU…

then like I said, you have an unhealthy obsession you need to work out, its not an advantage... it hurts your inner game and ultimately you.

I had oneitis, after a nasty breakup to a 3 year relationship. What you're telling me is that you're going out to have sex as a status symbol but you're really not happy. Is that something you really want to do?

sounds more like you have an unhealthy obsession over someone... Oneitis implies no other will do too..

I Figured I would chime in here during my study break (Ironically). I've been lurking on here for nearly 2 years now after a really nasty breakup and I've been disheartened about my lack of success with women. But Lets be frank here, my life is a hell of a lot better than it was, and after some meditation on this matter I've realized a few things; 1: I started working out, I'm down to 13% Body fat, and dropping. Women notice, I feel better, I am sharper, have more energy, I really started doing …

Can confirm, am neighbor to my ex who was engaged to/dated for 3 years. It doesn't get better, the pain does not go away, so you must learn to make yourself more awesome. EDIT: Hang in there mate. If you would like more about my experience PM me, I don't put details up for the whole internet to see

Right on, I had a similar one a few weeks ago, i was working on my car, feeling sore in general, and when shoveling the driveway here in ohio, I felt something jiggle. I realized, fuck this, working at a desk for 8 months in two internships killed my physical health, I need to build a habit for me. I've spent at least an hour at the gym every day since, not to get women, but because I was tired of feeling like shit. and you know what? it's working, I have more energy to do what I like (work on m…

For me it was never to really directly attract girls by being a bouncer, but to get to know the scene and make friends and practice being in control without being an asshole. If you're good there's a lot of directing people with kino (touches on the shoulder, etc..). It's also part of my job to make sure the customers are having a good time which may mean making some light conversation, and looking for signs that trouble may be brewing.

Assuming attraction =/= sexual contact. Assuming attraction means that you're going to start the conversation so you both have a good time. If they don't want the conversation, they will let you know, turn around, walk away. It's only weird if you make it weird.

This is a lie. Women love it when you make yourself vulnerable to them and share with them genuinely. I am still an AFC, but I've gone sarging out a few times, no # closes, but I have a great time with the people I meet b/c I share with them genuinely.

Assume attraction. That is all. edit: Until proven otherwise!

Don't ask for commitment you're not willing to give.

Don't, join clubs, do stuff, there's more to life than drinking, and definitely more to women than drinking.

AFC here: Working on bachelors in engineering, internships, make tons of money in the summers (despite being in college!). I got my shit together, but I don't have MYSELF together. GF of 3 years dumped me a month ago... been taking it real hard, severe case of oneitis. (she was my first serious relationship, never really talked to girls before..). Long story short, the opposite side is just as bad. My take on this? Fuck it, I'm lucky/have a good future, now I need to find happiness in myself? Wi…
