Hmm that really only leaves living alone, I'm in a major city where 1 BRs and studios get pricey. Why don't you recommend male roommates? In this case, better or worse than cohabitation?

I know that if we give this another year, ill be motivated to make it work the best way I can. It's just the cynicism of knowing that this is the downfall of so many LTRs. Especially with two people who consider each other firsts. The hard part is she is truly a good girl who has my back which is why its hard to pull the plug. But I'm still on my journey to becoming a great guy and just don't know if this is in my best interest at this stage. Thanks for the insights.

Thanks a lot. You're right, I understand my severe lack of experience. I've always just had the confidence that I could maintain things if I focused on improving. But the last thing I want is to reflect on my life with resentment or regret. I've done some of that already at 25 and don't see it getting any easier as we take more steps.

Thanks man. I've moved notoriously slowly in terms of giving further levels of commitment. I'll admit I went exclusive with her rather quickly when I was a young 18 year old. Think ill take some time to focus inwardly and nail down exactly what I want out of life before making any major decision.

I never interpreted it that way. It's not like I've guaranteed marriage or kids and have been secretly leading her on. There's been no deceit on my end. But as im getting older, I understand that women have a window of opportunity with these things. I would consider marriage and kids maybe in my early 30s but not now.
