Opposite of negging, to get a British girl you need to take the piss in a way that makes her feel more secure and comfortable around you. Light-hearted ribbing, just having a laugh, but also showing that you're noticing things about her. If you go for something she's genuinely insecure about then she'll close off and find someone else to have a laugh with. Like if she's wearing a tight orange dress, you can make a joke about her looking like she's been Tangoed, but not about how it bulges a bit …

"I'm a complete beginner at bowling. I bowled 7 balls tonight and I didn't get a single strike. I hate bowling balls so much." Think of the first time you try anything new - Skyrim, playing guitar, learning Spanish, archery, knitting, whatever - does it not usually take you more than 7 tries at a task before you become successful in that skill? Persistence, patience and practice are vital to making progress in basically every area of life, love-life included.

If you're talking to multiple girls, it follows that they're talking to multiple guys. If you're waiting before replying, aren't you handing the guys who reply more promptly the advantage?

I was thinking of Plymouth or Tiverton where most of this would get a very negative reaction (though it does depend a bit on the venue, obviously). I live in Exeter currently where admittedly most of the stuff on this list would probably be tolerated, at least after 2am once everyone's drunk enough. Except for trying to "befriend the security staff" I've never seen that go well anywhere for anyone who wasn't a regular.

Same, pretty much. I'm in England, so maybe it's just a UK thing.

Go and see a body language coach, or if you can't find one of those near you then an acting teacher can also show you how to give off a less creepy impression. Another possibility is that it might be something to do with your voice, if people's reaction is changing right after you start speaking. You could work on the tone and timbre of your voice to help with that. ...otherwise it's hard to tell without seeing what's actually going on.

While some women are very brazen about their intentions, in general women tend to be a lot more subtle about their approaches to men than vice versa - This means (hot) women do hear "no, I don't want to date you" much less often, but partly because they ask much less often. But just because the rejections aren't as explicit doesn't mean they don't happen, unrequited attraction/love is a universal experience (except perhaps for the sort of people who marry the childhood sweetheart they met at age…

As a girl let me just say, this will work fine if the girls are very drunk or stupid, but unless you're being pretty subtle and clever about it you're going to face two problems if the girls are sober: a) switching your attention from one girl to another is usually pretty obvious and not something girls like - "if he dropped my friend so quickly, how soon before he gets bored of me too?" will go through her mind, and if the "hot girl" and the "undesirable" one are good friends you may automatica…

If she gave you a country code, could it be from a country with shorter phone numbers? An English guy who got a Dutch girl's number might think it was fake because Dutch numbers are one digit shorter than UK ones, for instance. But even if it is fake, just keep persevering, move on to the next one.

(26F non-virgin here) I don't think being a virgin at any age is inherently a problem. I do prefer to sleep with guys who have at least a bit of experience, but it isn't that big of a deal. I view it the same as the fact I prefer guys with dark hair, but that doesn't mean I'd never date a blond. It would depend a bit on the reason why. There are lots of reasons why someone would still be a virgin well into their 20s, 30s, 40s, etc. Focusing on other things in life, religion, or needing longer th…

Female opinion here, feel free to ignore. This seems like excellent advise to pick up a girl who has very low self-esteem. On the other hand, girls with such low self-esteem don't really require this much effort... you could cut 90% of this and still have the same result. And girls who actually have a modicum of self respect aren't going to fall for this anyway. Also, you ascribe the actions of cockblocking friends to jealousy. This is a misunderstanding of how girls interact with their friends,…
