I think another one you could add is if you're just bloody tired. If you're exhausted even thinking about the effort to sort through crappy men, watch for red flags, deal with their games and bullshit—don't force yourself just because you're missing some cuddles and companionship. You may be able to pass on L/NVM men, but it will likely be an even more disheartening experience than usual. A couple (seemingly) decent and attractive guys asked me out recently and I just didn't feel... anything. Ho…

I was hoping someone would mention that. Hilarious that she's pretending this is some personal act of feminist resistance when that disgusting trash heap was the one who told her she'd "be naked" that night and she absolutely lapped it up. You have xyz awesome traits, don't be so hard on yourself!" which he'll lap up. Of course he won't hesitate to pull that excuse out later. "Well I told you I was an asshole, so you shoul…

I think it was one of the women here who said her response is: "I'm not high maintenance, you're just low effort." Rung true to me. I would always make time for my ex no matter how busy and how much of an "inconvenience" it was because I actually cared for him. Took too long to recognize it wasn't fair that he never did the same for me. And the guy in the article just had a cold of all things. Poor baby.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
