Dating sucks. For a lot of people who are doing things with their lives, finding the time to date is a chore and often not worthwhile. You do you. You don't need a relationship to be happy. Enjoy your life doing what you love and focusing on what you want. When you feel like dating, then go for it. Until then, don't worry about it.

The thing about beards and glasses (if you need them anyways) is that you can use them to change the shape of your face. But yeah, beyond that you're stuck with what you've got, especially if you don't have hair. And I'm not talking specifically about acne. I'm referring more to wrinkles, acne scars and other things that can make skin look a little rough. I have a friend in his late 20s who has really bad skin and I honestly think it's about 40% of the reason he's perpetually single.

Regular skin care early on does help. And you are right. There are things that can't be changed. That said, growing a beard and styling it nicely can help a lot. Also, you can wear glasses and style your hair in ways that hide some of the blemishes you might have. If you're balding (like me) you can use products to maintain what you have, shave it all off, wear a wig, and/or use a special powder that makes your hair look thicker. (It's basically magic). Not making an effort to date. I was very school driven. Also, not working more on my music. Trying to compose music now in my band is a challenge even though I know I have the creativity for it.

You would be amazed what some fashion, time at the gym, and skincare products can do for a guy. And it's true, height can be a limiting factor for some guys. You just need to compensate somehow. I usually would suggest dance classes or learning an instrument. I know people who are short who have done that and they've done pretty well.

Honestly it all boils down to just a few things. Be confident and charismatic. Interact with lots of people. Actually ask out the ones you have some interest in It's really not that difficult. The problem is that modern society teaches us how to handle these experiences and desires very poorly and it's hard to break from that way of thinking once you've been doing it for 20, 30 or even 40 years.

Don't stress. I've been balding since I was 19. Very noticeable as early as 23. I've been having consistent relationships and sex all through my mid to late 20s. My rule is to always split the bill unless it feels really weird to do it. Paying for her does not make you any more attractive but it can make you look like a sucker for potential gold diggers. You also just don't want to establish an expected trend where you pay for everything either as that actually makes you less attractive and easier to exploit. Flirting, usually, but here's the thing. It's all about context. As the man, it's up to you to control the context of your interaction with her. If she does that and you respond in a friendly way, you'll probably lose attraction and its context will be reinterpreted in a more friendly way. That's how you get friendzoned. Some guys will say that if she is willing and you want it then you should go for it. That being said, fucking a girl who already has a boyfriend is a pretty low thing to do. When I first started meeting women, I noticed the same thing. Generally speaking, just from taking to girls, I've found that most average guys don't know the first thing about good sex. If anyone wants to learn how to really get a girl going in bed, I suggest you read the sex subreddit. It has a bunch of links to some really good tutorials and the like.
