Here’s hoping. I’m in the middle of a divorce right now and my spouse is seeking permanent alimony so this piece of legislation will define how that court date will go.

The bill is still Order Enrolled. It still has not been presented to the governor. According to FL Law, the governor has 15 days after it is presented in order to sign or veto. If he does nothing it still gets passed and effective 07/01/2022. The governor office is not sitting on the bill the truth is it hasn’t even reached his desk yet. I reached out to Senator Grueter’s office to see what the hold up was and they simply stated it should be presented before the middle of the summer (before the …
