2	Lie about rape . . . GET 10 YEARS Some of those men spent years in jail. Because the new generation of detectives are garbage. This is the problem. This is uncomfortable to say and to hear, but detectives are absolute shit these days (I’m not sure if your generation/country is part of the problem, I’m not talking about you specifically!). You guys US detectives rely WAY too heavily on polygraphs. In fact, most detectives don’t bother checking basic facts after they get a bone in their teeth... they run with it.
