Been in the same situation a few times. A friend get oneitis/orbits/generally fucks up etc. Ain't nothing you can do other than point it out. Just say one time, "Here is why this won't work: point 1, 2, 3" etc. And never talk about it again. I didn't reveal my location intentionally but these girls are not that attractive. A 6 in Miami is a 9 here. Also the scene is bullshit, no time to really build attraction and pull with any frequency. Routinely groups of girls and groups of guys enter the bars here, everyone leaves empty handed.
