| 2 | Can anyone explain to me how child benefits are sexist towards women? Thanks for the reply. I didn't mean for the title to be misleading, it was the impression I got from the article. I really didn't understand the point she was trying to make. | /r/MensRights | 31/07/15 03:56 PM |
| 2 | I went to the root of the "1 in 2 women will suffer from physical or sexual abuse" claim. IMHO, it's inflated to the point of meaninglessness.By these standards I've DEFINITELY been sexually and physically abused. My own brother clearly assaulted me on our last family vacation when he held me down and tickled me because I was bothering him... I think I need counselling. | /r/MensRights | 10/01/14 09:37 PM |

I think you watch too many Die Hard movies... | /r/MensRights | 15/02/13 05:31 PM |
| 5 | Old 4chan thread i found on my comp, comprehensive list of MR issues and double standards etc.I think you're right in saying that a lot of these are presented as "fact" when most of them are "opinion", or are sweeping generalisations based on one or two instances. That being said, a majority of these strike really close to home. While I may not have personal experience with all of them (but definitely a lot of them), I've seen most of them popularised in pop-media (movies, tv shows, and various news articles), which leads me to believe it's more widespread than my personal experience mig… | /r/MensRights | 19/01/13 12:17 AM |
