-4	An Alabama court ruled that a woman who hocked her $32,000 engagement ring for $10,000 must compensate her ex-fiance. She lied and said she threw the ring into river & that it was a gift & he didn't really propose when he was on his knee. Why did I not know that an engagement ring doesn’t belong to the receiver? I had no idea that whoever proposed and “gave” the ring had any right to it after they gave it?!?!
