I'm not sure if the lack of male teachers in school is a choice to work more, like the lack of women in higher-paying positions, or the mistrust of men around children.

I know, I didn't feel a need to put the /s because almost nobody who says patriarchy on this sub is taken seriously. But anyways, I always help people. I don't give a fuck if they're a woman, man, child or elderly (well maybe the elderly a bit more, but that's different). I like giving people help, I just hate it when such actions are expected.

But what about the patriarchy?

Same way with fundies. If something bad happens, it's actually good because god did it, but if something hood happens then god just has to be real!

This is the type of attitude that caused feminism to turn into a female supremacy movement.

But we need to define ourselves from rabid feminists.

Doesn't seem to be, some of them are rabid SRSers, like corynthious and sterk. However, me and obsidian overlord are the two ones I know. I've seen TheRealPariah on civcraft before, and am kinda happy to see an MRA in a sea of hyper feminazi leftists.

Civcraft MRA? Hurray!

An ELI5 post asked about it and linked me to the sub. I was intrigued and started to look at things from a new viewpoint.

Maybe I'd make an example out of the most threatening person, such as shooting a huge pro wrestler man. Dear god, today I realized I am fucked up.
/r/MensRights27/08/12 12:27 PM

Oh, I see what you're saying now. I wouldn't shoot anyone but have everyone get on the floor. Or maybe I shouldn't dwell to much on the subject :P

No. The issue at hand is that the fact that she let women go unharmed is being hidden, covered up and not given attention.

This is as bad as the feminist cry of prejudice & power. Claiming only one sex can be sexist is ludacris, misguided and ultimately detrimental to our goal as an MRM. We do not post jokes about how women aren't superior to men, because men are better than women! We rationally discuss arguements with feminists and question ideas and gender roles. We do not battle for the position of more intelligent sex.
/r/MensRights24/08/12 09:32 PM
5

If we want to fight feminsts being sexist, than we can't post shit like this. All I see here is two gender roles being fought over by a misandrist and a mysogynist. Sexism towards women is not okay, sexism solves nothing and is the whole fucking reason we have an MRM. Plus, 9gag?

People determine male sexuality (and female for that matter) by clothes they wear, shows they watch, and even when they complain about being discriminated.
/r/MensRights23/08/12 12:28 PM

Nothing, and absolutely NOTHING should determine your sexuality besides how you exercise your sexuality.

You can never disprove a negative. We all know monkeys don't have an intelligent race that developed camouflage armor and controls president Obama. But how do you know that it's not true? You don't know that!
/r/MensRights23/07/12 01:57 PM

No, it's not just that. This girl realizes that she can say he raped her and ruin his life very easily, which constantly puts women in a power position over men.

Read these comments. Don't be so quick to judge. You don't know what he did to her. Sometimes they do deserve it. He tried to divorce her. OH SHIT BETTER DRUG HIM AND CUT OFF HIS PENIS! I want to start a defense fund for her. After the way I've been treated by a bad and a worse husband, I'm sure he deserved it. Men are bad, women need people to help them commit violent crimes of mutilation because men are bad to women. hmm but women are mulitated every day all over the world and no one seems to …

The thing these MRA's are taking offense to is the idea that fathers are some bumbling incompetent idiots who can't provide basic care for a child.
/r/MensRights21/06/12 04:26 AM

You are the kind of person we need more of. At the start their views may be a little off, but at the end of a polite debate they show they actually learned something other than "you mysogynstic pig".

The David Beckham commercial for Burger King where he takes his shirt off is a perfect example of this: Girl making smoothies. She spills it on him. Restuarant wants him to take his shirt off. Let's reverse that: Guy making smoothies. He spills it on her. He wants her to take her shirt off. She smacks him while a laugh track is being played in the background.

It's a popular opinion that men should never hit women because of how much more they hurt them. (never hit a girl) The mothers teach them not to be against violence, but not to hit women.
/r/MensRights03/06/12 05:34 PM
2

So the person less capable to inflict violence should be hurt more? If I shoot you with a gun, it'll hurt just as much as if my sister shot you. A knife can turn shit south real quick.
/r/MensRights03/06/12 05:10 PM

Right. This ad is telling us that men are deciding women's fate and death to the patriarchy and opressive men etc.

When in fact the media is stuffing men into idiotic gender roles.

True. SRS is slowly losing credibility by screaming sexism at everything and bringing on down vote brigades.
/r/MensRights02/06/12 06:48 PM

This is why instead of receiving logical arguments, SRS is linking to us "mysogynists".

This is because in the past, men payed for dates while the women "payed them back" with a nice meal at home. Nowadays, all that's left is the woman's entitlement to free shit.

If the father can’t pay, he joins the military and uses his enlistment bonus and salary to pay. But if some girl goes around whoring herself out, she gets $50,000 dollars? Isn't this an incentive to "forget the pill"?

I completely feel you. After being "diagnosed" (if you can call it that) with ADD about a month ago, I feel the difference between "medicated Alex" and "ADD Alex". You don't realize how your mind wanders until you see both results within a day.

Editing that right now to "expressing sympathy". I know this isn't a morbid injury, but the things behind it- the double standard- is what bothers me.

I told her I could show my pain too, and "might I remind you when you bawled your eyes out over a name-calling?" Which was promptly met with a "misogynist pig!" to which every other cunt in the class hooted their approval to. Everyday I go through this bullshit, alot of other guys feel the same way. I'm trying to open their eyes, then eventually introduce them to this sub. I'm not very popular, but I feel if I can get 15 kids on this sub the school will be a better place (and society as a whole)…

I'm using the stubbed toe as an example. My friend's dad was divorced, and his crazy bitch-mom got full custody. He kept "using the bathroom", but when he came back his eyes were puffy and red. Some girl told him to man up, and nobody said a word to her.
/r/MensRights22/05/12 08:57 PM

Not the fact of a stubbed toe. The fact I can't express my pain without being ridiculed is what I despise.

She constantly quotes the Guardian, preaches about how women are "genetically superior" (until she needs someone to move a heavy box, then men are much more customed to that). She tells me and all the other men in my class that we should feel terrible for being a straight white male with all our priveleges and where is women's rights in this world. She berates us for even suggesting the thought that maybe we need some legislation to protect men, and has accused all of us of being a sexist, rapis…

Just another example of how people are sympathetic to women in rape. If it was his word against hers and nothing else, he would be in jail for sure. In rape cases, it's guilty until proven innocent.

Just because you're not using that money on the actual luxury crap you don't need, you're still saving money. Most just "put aside money for little Derp's college" before blowing it in a week. Anyways, if you have to pay 50,000 a month for something, by giving you 25,000 you still get to keep 25,000 more than originally. Provided these people are on welfare too sometimes, this makes a pretty easy way to work the system. Don't like a guy? File for sexual harassment, the penalties for allegating c…

Yes, we need laws against this. But this sort of thing doesn't happen overnight. Start on a small scale for now- tell the boyfriend what she did to you, how he can prevent it, and to start gathering things on her. The more of an advantage he has, the better. Prove her unfit to care for a child, and potentially his and your child support payments can be dropped.

The fact is though, you don't see women rushing to men's side in male rape, instead they brush it off and refuse to acknowledge it.

Of course she knew she would not win in a fight. This is what she was counting on, the fact that she is a woman and it is okay to slap a man. The fact that he's big and strong is what she was counting on, the ability to talk about how she obviously had no chance in a fight.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
