I really wasn’t saying I’m all knowing like you just did. I have better things to do than put a bunch of effort into pointless arguments online. This means nothing in the long run. I’ve been on this subreddit for over a year back when it actually stood for something I agree with. I stated my opinions and got my point across. I don’t really have any interest in continuing this argument. Take it as a win if you want. I don’t really care enough to protest that at this point.

I didn’t mention any of them because I wasn’t gonna spend my night doing a bunch of research. Sorry I’m not that invested in this conversation I guess. You kind of just provided more evidence for my statements though.

Agreed. There’s inequality on both sides and we don’t have to be at each other’s throats to try and get our equality.

I mean they’re based on my own experience, but if you have a different experience with the subreddit then kudos to you.

I agree so much with this sentiment. This sub was way better when I first started following it and then a bunch of people from mgtow and incels started pouring in and now I don’t think I want to be associated with this sub anymore. Like I actually enjoyed the civil discussions about problems men face rather than constantly saying shit like “women bad.” It’s not nearly as bad as mgtow yet but I’m thinking I might wanna jump ship before it’s consumed by that sub.

My response to your added tantrum at the end: You’re just assuming random shit here. I never said my friend is okay, therefore what you say is bullshit. I already said that I used my friend as an example because she’s someone I personally know and because it adds some evidence to back up what I said. Stop looking so deep into it dude. You completely missed the point I was trying to make because the comment wasn’t even centered around my friend. I never told you to shut up and I never called you …

They aren’t the majority and there are traditional feminists that do try and help. For example, Serrin Foster said on EWTN’s Morning Glory (30 oct 2017) that “On the other hand, it doesn’t mean that every time a woman screams that a man raped that it’s true. We’ve got to also keep some balance here. Every person who says they’ve been victimized, it may not be true.” I don’t agree with all of her views but that doesn’t make her statement any less valid of a point.

Dude it was literally once sentence. I used my friend as an example because that’s someone I know personally so then my argument has some weight to it. I literally never said that I take criticism of feminism as personal attack. I don’t consider myself a feminist and I do have a lot of my own criticisms of feminism.

Just because they don’t fit your description of a feminist doesn’t make them not a feminist.

Thanks for adding more to this after I already commented. Whatever. I agree with you maybe for 3rd wave feminism because that’s just an extremist view of the movement that doesn’t actually understand what the movement stands for. I don’t give a damn about 3rd wave feminism. Anyone can be a traditional feminist and they definitely don’t fall in the same category as 3rd wave feminists. The majority of feminists are traditional feminist. Just because 3rd wave feminists are the loudest doesn’t mean …

It’s literally one sentence out of multiple. There’s no way you’re going to try and use a throw away comment to try and dismantle my entire argument lmao. A throw away comment means I just threw it in as a side note. It doesn’t mean that it’s bullshit.

Have you ever seen a genuine feminist before? I’m not talking 3rd wave bullshit. I mean an actual traditional feminist. Traditional feminists want equality for both genders and that’s an idea that I share with them. A close friend of mine is a traditional feminist and she’s currently working her ass off in college for a medical degree. You can’t tell me women are not as ambitious. So I’m not sure what being working class has to do with this at all. Making the economy and social classes equal doe…

That may be so but I don’t trust mgtow and people that actually believe in equality wouldn’t either. Mgtow’s just a cesspool of incels that find any reason to say “women are bad.”

How about we stop separating the genders like this if we actually claim to fight for equality? How about we show actual verified numbers rather than a useless two-colored pyramid that oversimplifies this? Men and women both are capable of these things. It’s more like a scatter plot and even that, I feel, would not fully represent the situation. Let’s stop pretending things are so black and white, or in this case, pink and blue. Also, let’s start actually fact checking and proofing the informatio…

Exactly how do you measure selfish/selflessness? My problem with generalizing people is that everyone has their own way of thing, everyone has their own experiences, and no two people see things the same way regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual preference, etc. so to generalize an entire group of people without even so much as a sliver of evidence to prove it is to take away part of their humanity. Most generalizations are baseless statements that only divide people. Everyone is guilty …

I really doubt whoever created this went through “a lot of trouble.” Like I said, I’m pretty sure I saw this originally in a different context.

False generalization is something this sub is against. Why is it any different to falsely generalize women? No group of humans deserve to be generalized and doing so doesn’t help anyone.

This was originally used in a different context I believe. Why does it matter?

Honestly I rarely see anything that’s like anti-sjw or anti feminist. The really extreme posts like that usually have more comments than upvotes. As for defending rapists, that’s utter bullshit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
