Who said he was a slob? You can be fat and still a functioning man

Yup. The whole point of this is to get better at living your life, and to learn things the hard way. If you're sitting there watching people make fun of stupid people you should be questioning how you're spending your time.

Alright, you've convinced me. I won't fuck short men.

Frame is always such a difficult concept to describe, I feel like no one has a perfect definition of it, since everyone had it explained to them differently. I do like this definition though, I see it in a similar manner. The first time I heard it explained, my friend told me that women like to try to bend your frame (shit test) to see if your frame is what you claim it is, and to see if it is sturdy. I think that's part of it too.

In my opinion, what you're referring to is the effects of holding frame. In one case, you're the center of the frame, and in the other, she is.

That's not the point though. The point is to not have days where you simply do nothing. Personally I think it's ok to have some zero days, but if it's happening too frequently then that's likely going to cascade into bigger problems.

It's not weird at all, we're all here to understand the world better, whether we like it or not

Also a key, yet often hard to see, distinction

I don't think he's blue pill, I guess I really can't know since I can't and won't ever know him personally, but I mean the man seems to do whatever the fuck he wants to, he did start a company just so he could build flamethrowers after all

In addition to being a state of mind, it is also a state of ...situation...? Not exactly sure if that's the word I want, but my point is that being "alpha" requires a hierarchy on some level, even if it's only a two person hierarchy (you and a girl). An alpha is only that way because of their actions in any given situation.

We're all governed by the chemicals in our brains, whether we can explain why or not. Sometimes the reasons we do things are obvious, sometimes they're not. Our chemicals are not logical, and in an increasingly logical (supposedly) world, that divide between what makes sense and what is seems to be widening.

Close friends and trusted family members are exceptions for most people, but yea for the most part no one really gives two fucks.

Mindfulness meditation isn't for everyone, but many people (myself included) are willing to throw support behind it, after giving it a try for a while. Have you ever tried mindfulness meditation?

You could throw social media in general in there too. I'd probably argue it's even worse than video games. With video games you at least get the value of it making you happy in that moment, despite little to no social value. Social media has negative value, it makes people focus on meaningless bullshit, get riled up over shit that doesn't matter, and it's been designed to be stupidly addictive. Video games are also being designed to be stupidly addictive but at least they're not trying to hack y…

Isn't that why the distinction is there? The separate those that believe the fantasy from those that don't?

Currently struggling with the realization that I have not fully yet become a man at age 25 and that to a great extent this is correlated to not having been raised in a functional home with a masculine figure. It's always good to reflect on your life and think critically about what's going on and why. In response to this quote though, I would say that it may not be useful to hold onto the blame or anger for too long. All people live their lives at different paces. There's nothing wrong with not b…

Factory workers sure, but the world will still need plumbers, electricians, mechanics, etc.
