From what I can tell upon looking at their Twitter, they do seem to be a man although the nails def threw me off.

EXACTLY!!! Men being attracted to me is like, the least complimentary thing ever. Honestly it’s more threatening usually.

I agree!! I just don’t know why women also act like the male attention is a trophy or something too. It’s all so infuriating when we women should be supporting each other.

I want to always hold MEN accountable for their behavior but it always depresses me when women act this way. The power of socialization that the male gaze is important or validating is so.... gross “y is my bf following u ur a slut” ew “because he wants to fuck me hehe :p” ew girl he’d literally fuck a mcchicken

The amount of people in the comments defending pornography makes me sick. Like, this is obviously a problem caused by continual exposure to pornography from a young age that men do this (+societal issues/lack of sex ed) and why women end up enjoying this in a lot of cases. I remember when I was young I was literally groomed into believing that BDSM/rough sex was what I was into and pornography and libfems online perpetrated that belief. Took forever for me to unlearn it for this exact reason, pe…

I remember when I first started college, my high school boyfriend and I had issues because I told him I didn’t like him using porn. We had a huge fight after I went to college because instead of using porn, he touched himself to a GIRL WHO HE KNEW IRL’S INSTAGRAM PHOTOS??? I broke up with him basically on the spot and my best friend at the time (who is a giant pick me to this day and I’ve finally distanced myself from her) told me that I was being crazy and controlling? I felt so gaslit being ar…

Thankful this exists! Just recently started watching The Queens Gambit and kept bracing myself during any interaction the main character had with a man just waiting for some form of sexual abuse to happen, sadly. I’m so used to it especially with strong female leads and it leaves me feeling uneasy for hours and sometimes even triggers flashbacks.

Yeah, I’ve been a similar situation except it wasn’t my boyfriend but it was his mom. After, two years of being there near constantly (stuff going on in my home life) while we were dating in high school, suddenly I was only allowed over two days a week and it was because I “used too much toilet paper.” Lmao like what?!

This!!! I swear every time I tell a man I have a partner, am married, etc they will say “what, you can’t have friends?” Like I’m some sort of idiot who believes men who barely know me want to be my friend🙄

Exactly what I was thinking. These men swear “age is just a number” and they can really click with younger women but it’s obvious they just are predatory, even if it’s only subconscious. In my opinion, at least.

Yup, so many of my problems would’ve been avoided if a teacher or an adult or a caring other student would’ve stepped in but unfortunately, I was just labeled as fast by being groomed by a 30 year old through the ages of 13-16. No reporting of the incident, but lots of rumors, and some being perpetuated by teachers/coaches :) but what can I say, my school was in national headlines for how poorly they dealt with a rape case.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
