| 2 | Oddly enough it's killing more men...the reason why people are discussing this with a gender lens is because while the immediate effects impact more on men (ie. more men dying) the systemic effects impact more on women. Women are disproportionately represented in caring roles such as healthcare, teaching, and aged care and are therefore, more at risk during this time.
