It's very true. I recently had my "unicorn" break up with me. I'm a red school veteran, and should know better. But this was a middle school crush that came back into my life many years later. And believe me, she loved me, intensely. But women's love is a spotlight. Some people think it's a lightswitch, but that's just from your third person, it turned off for you, but for her just a nudge and it's somewhere pretty far away to another spot. I think it's true I just loved that feeling of her bein…

I had plenty of "normal" relationships. The BPD nightmare is what led me here though the rational male. You don't find something until you actively look for it.

"You didn't commit that mistake once, you committed it every time she remembered it. Curiously this is never ever done for anything good you might have done." Jesus this brings back memories of my own nightmare BPD.

They're all donkeys with a cardboard tube glued to their head. Unicorns do not exist. It's all smoke and mirrors.

Could you articulate exactly how it makes it harder if you aren't married? I really don't see any connection at all.

It's mostly nature, and has been very studied. You should read Steven Pinker's books/research. Or at least watch some of his youtubes where he explains it, and even gives a pretty good guess at the ratio.

Are you only okay with any type of abortion as long as that decision is made prior to sex? Or only men have to make that decision prior to sex. Just want to understand your position.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/17 05:43 PM
1

I should have made this clear. I'm not talking about forcing the woman to have a physical abortion. I'm talking about letting the man have a "legal" one. You obviously shouldn't be able to force a woman to have an abortion (or force her not to). I'm just saying give men the same choice, as much as is physically possible. If she doesn't want the kid, she can get rid of it, regardless of what the man says. Just let him choose to not have a child forced on him either.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/17 04:21 AM

Is having sex consent to have a child? People will argue for women that NO WAY, she has total choice and control. You would never force a women to have a child just because she had sex. For men it's always......... Well, they shouldn't have had sex then. Totally oblivious that if you use that argument on women it makes people furious. Total equality there..... It's sick and wrong for either gender to be forced to have a child just because they had sex. Religious nuts and feminists both want to f…

I've had some thoughts on this and might write up a report on it. Basically, this march was a million wide, but only an inch deep. A not insignificant percentage of the people in it are only there so they can check in and post some photos on facebook for some validation and show they are "doing something". They have no intention of actually getting involved in anything. People (especially women) love to be "into" something, but rarely have that deep of an interest when you actually try and talk …

"You do need to be married to raise kids properly" "I'm not saying you need to go get a marriage contract from the government. " I'm not sure you've thought your position all the way through. There is absolutely no requirement to be married to be in a committed relationship and raise kids. Not a single one.

" in certain cases with non-married couples, judges have awarded" Man, that's a long way off from signing a contract to just give it over... a looooooooong way. You're basically saying "well, it might turn out bad, let's guarantee it" He's completely misrepresenting the legal situation by saying "not significantly worse"

Once you have a child then marriage is not significantly worse. The fuck. Also giving this same person person you owe child support to half of any future growth of your 401k, businesses you might own, any equity that builds in your house, etc, etc... Isn't "significantly worse"????? Total facepalm.

It's when you find personal success. The red pill doesn't really care about changing social issues, only how to work and win with the reality we've got. It's not a movement, it's a personal journey of self improvement. Stop worrying about changing society and change yourself.

Cool, sorry to pick on you, heh. Generally, for most normal video units, you can install a single hard drive. So you'll want a HDD because right now they can store DRASTICALLY higher amounts of data. Raid is only going to apply if you are setting up some kind of custom setup where you record to a separate box. SSD isn't something you'll be looking at using at all for recording video from a camera system. The 1080+ problem is the +. Security footage above 1080 isn't a realistic setting. You also …

Everyone is religious.... ya, no. But if you want to "believe" that, go for it. That was a VERY long winded way of saying you're a christian. You can't even answer a yes/no question. Are you embarrassed about believing in god or something?

The problem I found with it is that you can't read multiple words at a time. You can't see what's coming ahead. For me it made reading slower, but I love the idea. I'd like something that does the same thing, but that shows multiple words at the same time or something.

Seeing a lot of hating on books here. If you don't have good reading comprehension, or can't read quickly, I guess I can see why people don't like them. For the rest of us, they are invaluable. About 3 years ago, I stumbled upon the red pill. I DEVOURED books. Reading shit on the internet is the tip of the iceberg compared to the knowledge out there. Once you've read the work of people like Steven Pinker, the full context of the red pill kind of falls into place.

"He makes fun of atheists." I'm willing to bet that's just part of his "act". Look, we all like him, but it's his goal to be a conservative media celebrity and personality. Having to fake being christian is just part of that. The only thing they hate worse than the gays, is atheists.

GTFO of this sub with this anti-scientific nonsense. "From a very young age (around 12-13) my brain began to associate computers with sexuality. Sex at Dawn has been mostly discredited as pseudo-science crap by actual evolutionary psychologists. It tells a lot of people want they want to hear though. Somebody finally got sick of it enough to tear it completely apart by writing Sex at Dusk. When Steven Pinker calls something psudoscience, you can bet it is. Polyamorous people without any understanding of evo-psych love it though.

As I've gotten older I realize just how shitty motivation is. Motivation is nothing, it's a patch on a much larger problem. Discipline is where it's at. "Better for my children to have a mother and father that are in a committed lifelong partnership." That has nothing to do with marriage. You seem to be under the common wishful thinking/delusion that being married locks this down somehow. It doesn't. Committed has nothing to do with marital status "Inheriting a share of my spouse's estate." Not if she has a clue. When the time for this comes she may have changed her mind about what she wants to keep "separate". Getting married isn't locking down…

What do you have to gain by marrying her? By all means have children, but what possible advantage do you have to getting married. Her families money isn't hers, and if she's smart (and since she's an attorney), even if she inherits it later she can keep it totally separate, married or not. She will likely want to stop working to have children, at least for a while. If you get divorced during that time, you'll be on the hook for child support AND alimony, instead of just child support. So I can s…

I'll echo what others are saying. Focus on you now, finish school. Think long term. Ruining your life now to try and save your brother when you can do it for real in a couple years, because you then have an education and a good job, would be a tragedy. I'd write off the mother, she'll only drag you down. Work hard, finish school, save the little bro. In that order.

I was only married a year and it cost me 15k. Just, don't get married people. You literally have nothing to gain by doing so. *15k to get out. I guess I should probably also add the cost of getting in in the first place. Wedding, etc. I should have taken that 30k and lived in Asia for a year instead and slept with 300 girls over the course of the year, instead of my wife like 10 times.

But they really do have a higher reproductive value. Let's say you can have 11 people total. You want to produce the maximum number of offspring in any given time period. What ratio of men to women do you choose? Then there's the whole issues of sex hormones. Testosterone is a big thing. Women certainly find men physically attractive, but their sex drive is not the same. Men have 10+ times the amount of testosterone on average than women. I had never been to /r/foreveralonewomen. That's a little painful to read. But after reading some of the stories it also made me realize that for a woman to be foreveralone, she usually has to ugly, overweight, AND have a mental disorder or personality problem. The Rational Male was instrumental in turning my life around. Understanding why things were happening the way they were (ie, why the fuck does she treat me so badly, why are things turning out this way. It's like she's not even human) took so much of the frustration out of them. I clue'd in, divorced out, and moved on. In the end, she's the one who had the melt down I was headed for. People who haven't read the book and the blog are really doing themselves a disservice.
