The dismissive way he ended his txt, yuck. It’s so reminiscent of when I dated guys in my early 20s who had no idea about how to communicate. He’s like, if I end this convo now, it will all be over tomorrow... idiot lol

Totally. For me it was 50/50 fuckboys or time-wasters who wanted to make banal small talk for weeks. I remember asking a “snap” guy (nearly 5 years ago) when we were going on a date and he said something like “oh yeah sorry.. I’m really bad at making plans and stuff..” then continued to message me every day for weeks afterward even though I wasn’t responding. Fuckboys I can understand but what benefits are there from just messaging a bunch of girls with no endgame? Lmao

He has social anxiety. He's not socially awkward or embarrassing, but he always asks waaay too many questions about any event we're going to, how long it will last, who will be there etc. You would never think that these thoughts were churning in his head if you saw him out and about with other people.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
