I see this a lot in the U.S. where I work. Some men put women on such a high pedestal that they end up acting like doormats to any woman in the room. You hear comments like “men are smart, but women are smarter, better, and more capable,” which I don’t really understand. Don’t get me wrong, women are just as capable as men, but it feels strange when some men put themselves down just to elevate the opposite gender.

Do any of you actually let your kids attend public schools? My wife and I have agreed that if its not private school we are homeschooling but never, and i mean absolutely never, will we allow them to get indoctrinated in a public school. I have 3 boys the oldest is 9.

In college i was attending a "me too" parade and felt like I was the bad guy and it didn't feel right because I had never done anything nor wanted to do anything wrong. One of the slogans was "ALl men are rapists" and it rubbed off wrong with me. The more liberal a classroom setting got the more eye rolling id see from classmates when it was my turn to speak my point or say my perspective, i "was just mansplaining". Classroom settings became kinda like reddit threads were upvotes/downvotes dicta…

I think having a kid is a major factor in all that, when I was married without kids I had all the freedom to do w/e I wanted to do as if i was single. The second we had a child is when expectations and limitations begun.

But what you are describing is something that every single human experiences regardless of race/gender/age . My point is that if there was an unfair disparity between men and women that is illegal. If I make 33 and a woman makes 32 an hour it would be VERY hard for her to claim sexism assuming we have very similar responsibilities. Now if we have same responsibilities and she gets paid 2/3 or even half of what I make that is illegal. At the 3% mark this is almost negligible. I think that attract…

Ive never worked for small businesses i imagine places that dont even have an HR department they can do w/e they want. I have only worked in big corporations (amazon, fedex) and teaching children which there are MANY regulations. In all these places I have worked I have seen 100% fair equality and regulations. Every place i have worked will fire you if you say sexual comments ect. Sorry you have had shit jobs
