A friend of mine said he thought I was a "player" and asked me how many women I've been with, at 40yo, when I said "one" he just about lost his mind and didn't believe me. Thinking back, it may explain some of the weird interactions I've had 😆

Oh shit you are right, thanks for correcting me, not sure why I thought fury road won, either way it was terrible and nearly unwatchable to me

Um, Fury Road won best picture, that basically invalidates the Oscars forever Edit: I'm wrong, Spotlight won best picture

After that shitty Fury Road movie won best picture I'll never watch the Oscars again, it shouldn't have even been nominated.

I couldn't care less that they were women, I'll never see it because they tried to remake one of the greatest movies ever made, and that's just wrong. It's completely insulting to the original filmmakers. It's like remaking The Karate Kid and having him do kung fu, call it the fucking Kung Fu Kid you assholes. Fuck remakes.

When was the last time you saw a "Hey you shouldn't murder people" sign?

The amount and time length should be capped at exactly what the states unemployment benefits are. It's like they're saying "Hey, this is enough for you...unless someone else can give you money other than us, then you obviously need more money".

Hahaha, I loved seeing an awesome, caring, and helpful post with a great positive viewpoint then looking up to see that it was from someone named cocaine_face. Made my day. That's why I can't ever get off of Reddit, it's just so great (NOT sarcasm BTW, can see how it could be misinterpreted as such)

In my experience, though it it does help a small amount in attaining a job, the type/level of degree a person has attained has no correlation to the amount they make compared to others in the same company/field, what's more important is how skilled they are. A high school drop-out who is self-taught, innovative, masterfully skilled, and generally kicks ass at their job can easily make more than someone who is just mediocre at their job yet has a masters/doctorate degree.

My guess is that she just WANTS to stay at home and experience her kids growing up. If I had kids I would love to be a stay-at-home dad just to teach them and watch them grow. Preferably, given that life didn't throw us any surprises, I would only want to have kids when one of us could be a stay-at-home parent, which one of us does would depend on the circumstances at the time.

Yep, you could just as easily say that the women are the focus of the movies, making higher wages and just using the men for their own pleasure. While the men, being paid less and sometimes barely even shown, just headless objects, treated like pieces of meat....(pun intended :-))

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
