While, at least you figured out what I've been trying to say this whole time. Sweeping generalizations about groups of people are never helpful. Now, if only we could apply that to feminists we would be all set. On your way then? What a mature way to handle things.

According to some polls, as much as 1/5th of Americans identify as feminists. Also, the definition of women's rights advocate and feminist are almost the exact same, so if you consider yourself one, you pretty much have to belong to the other.

A feminist is defined as "a person who supports feminism". He didn't say some aspects of feminism - he claimed the entire movement now was for whiney crybabies. He doesn't discredit some aspect of feminism, he discredits the entire movement. The following posts don't attempt to only discredit it as it now, but from its very beginnings. Believe it or not, he doesn't have to say the words "all feminists" to infer it from his words.

That isn't what I said at all. The problem occurs when you try to act like these insane feminist agendas apply to every single woman who has the slightest interest in women's rights. The point of the original post was that all men aren't the same, and to try to apply blanket statements to all men is a mistake. Then the top reply in this thread is about how all feminists are terrible, whiney crybabies. The follow up post extends that this isn't just current feminists, but all feminists from the b…

The people in this sub are the loud extremists of Men's Rights that don't get called out by their moderate counterparts. You guys cherry pick the very worst parts of feminism, then try to apply it to the whole movement like they are all the same. You're basically acting like the male parallel of the very things you guys are supposed to be against.
