You can't possibly be serious? You do know astrology is bullshit right? Also, this post is making me seriously consider unsubscribing from this sub.

Pretty much every suggestion here is equal. Cologne doesn't matter in isolation. It can strongly anchor emotional memories. Some women will have fond memories of how they felt around a work crush when they smell his cologne without realizing it. Same for ex boyfriends, fathers, friends, enemies, etc... Also, you will feel nostalgia by switching colognes often and bringing an old one back out similarly to how the songs on the radio when you were in high school trigger a tons of memories. Anyway, …

This is a really well thought out and accurate post that helps conceptualize confidence in an actionable way. Thanks. The last part feels like a free gift at the end of a time share tour though. It kind of detracted from the message imo. I feel like these days everything of even decent quality in this sub is a plug for another pua team.

Dude all you got to do is approach, not be needy, be vulnerable, and lead when the time is right.

Honestly, tons of guys don't keep going and only date girls someone else brings into their social circle. Try again but just make conversation and don't get tied to any outcome. I've only been cold approached maybe 4 times in my life but it feels great!

If you're sure you'll be able to make your own fun that's fine. If not I'll donate 17 euro to keeping you from going.

All of your "don'ts" could have been "dos". That would have been more positive and easier to comprehend. Otherwise cool article.

Hey thanks for posting that. I love honest insights into attraction like the whole Nancy Friday Secret Garden thing. I think a lot of people are missing the point. Correct me if I'm wrong but you're just communicating something that surprisingly caused you to be turned on that seems different and counterintuitive. I'm guessing the inability to control himself due to his attraction to her is what did it. I love that and have seen this in action/pulled something I think is similar.

I'd tell them. Their reaction could be as much about how you feel about it and how that comes off when you tell them as it could be just inherent desire for a younger guy. A LOT of girls like older men. If you never intend to go further than a few interactions then maybe honesty is less important although I think honesty and confidence go hand in hand. You really never know how far things will go though and having a lie hanging over you sucks especially one so small.

A lot of thought went into this and it's honest. It's also pretty obvious and is all "don'ts". What intrigues me is why you posted it at all. Lots of guys say "hey", post ab pics, and say overtly sexual stuff on purpose to select for girls that are horny and low maintenance. Tinder is the perfect forum for this. There are enough girls like that that we don't have to bust our asses being witty or engage our whole pr team. If we have a 5% success rate we can still get laid daily. Are you looking f…

Meh, if you are confident enough in your value and aren't needy at all then what's the harm. She's welcome :)

What book is that? I tried Tolle but it was way too new agey to take seriously. I'm sure there's good stuff in there but I just couldn't do it.

The line isn't "date" it's "girlfriend" or "fiancé" or "mother of my children". The point is to boldly exaggerate your relationship in a fun chill way. If she doesn't correct you she's tacitly playing along with you tooling him. You're creating an inside joke.

How would you act if you approached a girl who was with a guy you thought was an orbiter? Or how would you act if you and a guy you didn't know simultaneously started talking to the same girl. I'd handle it like that. Honestly if he has game you gotta out game him but if he's being intrusive she won't want him there either. Just engage him in conversation and be more awesome. Maybe jokingly say "are you seriously hitting on my girlfriend right in front of me?" With a smirk and wink at the girl. …

I want to see if a "douchey" comment plus affirmation of femininity makes it effective. The mazzerati statement seems needy and try hard to me which is why I think it fails but maybe there's more to it.

I love it! I feel like there are some solid insights in there. It clicks with some concepts I picked up from Nancy Friday's My Secret Garden and just personal experience. I'm gonna try to devise some experiments to test your hypotheses! Ideas welcomed!

The great early pua's learned what they know by deciding it could be learned and going out and practicing hundreds to thousands of times. They would then analyze the results, categorize things, and iterate on their ideas. They studied human behavior, social dynamics, and just experimented. They watched naturals and tried to identify common behaviors. I've thought about this for some time and think there'd be a huge market for female pickup especially if it was self improvement based like the bes…

I'm sorry, awful. It's needy like you owe them some clever shit. Just entertain yourself don't give a crap and have fun. "How you guys doing?" Is way better. Just know that of course they want your company, duh. See if they're cool enough to hang out with.

I commented below and that's my exact point. I don't know your date rule set and no, I wouldn't think waiting in my car would be a deal breaker. There's probably a million other things I wouldn't know either. So I'd probably ask you come hang out with my friends randomly rather than asking you out to dinner and a movie. I'd pick you up if you asked and I'd probably wait in my car unless you lived somewhere scary.

It seems like you have a very traditional view of dating and male female interactions. I would never go on a traditional "date" and try to avoid other circumstances where so many societal and traditional rules come in to play. The correct behavior on a date is both a vast and varied rule set I avoid. The first time I hang out with a girl will never involve me picking her up at her place for a dinner ill pay for. There are too many way I get get it wrong without knowing why and sets up a "she's t…

First, get yourself in order. Get a solid wardrobe. If you don't think you have a good sense of style find someone who does. Think of the scenes between Ryan gosling and Steve Carell in crazy stupid love. (it's worth noting that that movie seems to demonize and misunderstand pickup while getting a few things right) Hit the gym, get a bike, go rock climbing or some other fun, tough, maybe somewhat scary physical activity. Check the sidebar for inner game tips and watch blueprint decoded by rsd's …

I don't see where anything he's doing could be considered psychological manipulation. He merely noticed signs of interest. This subreddit has taught me to be 100% honest with not only the girl but myself. I would simply advise OP that she probably is talking herself into hooking up with him. A few lessons I've learned here that I would remind him of are, be a value giver not a value taker and to 'leave them better than you found them' which simply means that you should attempt to enrich their li…

I'm American and that pretty much exactly word for word happened to me in high school before I learned to respect myself. I've seen shit tons of my friends behave the same way. Some still do and when I tell them they need to respect themselves they think I'm trying to get them to be misogynistic. Obviously still a generalization but it's how guys act in movies and on tv 90% of the time and most people about 25-35 had moms who grew up around the women's lib movement and were just having kids when…

I don't think the car, the clothes, or the body are going to be a major help unless you are using them to boost your self esteem which is discussed in the ego vs self esteem link. If you want them for yourself then go after them for sure but you'll be surprised how little they help especially if you show them off in hopes of luring the girls. Tyler Durden talks about chode doctors and lawyers who have girls unwilling to have sex with them because these resources allow the girl to set a higher "p…

The suggestions seem very wimpy/beta. It makes a good point that the reason you're just friends matters a lot but 90% of the time it's due to lack of confidence and that's a hard hole to climb out of. Better to just move on. Edit: also, most people in this situation are just being friendly and doing nice things to "purchase" affection from the pursued which is kind of shitty. When they finally grow a pair the other is generally pissed rather than flattered and rightfully so (unless they're knowi…

I think my problem is that the only way I can think of conveying that energy is through talking. Your description seems more non-verbal which makes sense. I'd still like a demo video though. This PUA stuff all seemed like bs until I saw my first video of mystery. It immediately clicked. It sure is difficult to explain.

I can occasionally get the energy right but often I come across coked out. I guess I don't have a firm image of high but positive energy yet.
