Thank you, I truly adore you for taking the time to write it all out and give me your perspective. Easy to lose sight when you're in it but you've opened my eyes to many things. Thanks for having my back, appreciate you!

I told him early on that I wanted to take things slowly but I agree with you he did wait too long. If you don't mind, what more red flags did you react at? At the very least I might as well learn something from this and get better at vetting.

This is what I want to know too. My ex lovebombed me so I'm very unsure about when it should be expressed but as the others said five months of dating and still not expressing it is a red flag.

I've seen many on here saying you should count from the time you went official, and I've only been official with this guy since november, that's why I've been hesitating but I agree with you as well I think we've been dating for a long time and it's time he expressed something deep but he hasn't. I guess at first I appreciated that we took it slowly because my ex said he loved me too early and he was full of shit and this time it's most likely as you say - I'm getting strung along.

Ladies, how would you communicate to men that you expect them to be the one contributing more financially and that your money is your money? I feel like most men expect it to be 50/50

I'd love to hear about what the yellow flags were. I'm always worried that I'm missing yellow flags that will become red with time.

How would you respond to a guy who apologizes for replying to your text late? I'm talking about 6hrs late. He usually takes 1-3hrs to reply and I've been mirroring that.

THIS!!!!! Like seriously?? He's acting like he's doing her a favor by paying and not expecting sex, if he really was a gentleman he wouldn't even think these things and definitely not point them out to her????? Lmaooooooooo there's so many red flags I can't even

Girl, I think you're waaaay too hyped up! I know it's easy to be swept away but just try to calm down. If I were you I would never let my emotions get involved so quickly, so much and that fast! It was literally just one date. And he's literally a guy you just met. No need to be swept away. You make it sound like it was a magical dream but really, I think this is how you should expect to be treated. A guy should take you out on a nice date, a guy should be a gentleman and pay, a guy shouldn't ev…

Thanks for reassuring me, girl! I've dated quite a few med students and not once did any of them offer to pay. Never went out with them again ofc, but since the same scenario kept happening I got unsure. Will definitely continue to expect the guy to pay.

When it comes to guys still in college and not working..Is it reasonable to expect them to pay for everything? Or should you pitch in for small stuff from time to time?

Say if one of these scenarios were to happen, you've mentioned in the past that you hate ice skating and then he takes you out to ice skate - what is the right way to react? How would you show a guy that you're not okay with someone not respecting your preferences?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
