How often do judges follow custody evaluation recommendations?Judges typically do follow recommendations. I've never experienced a situation where they didn't (ive witnessed more than a few custody cases). In my situation the judge really didn't want to go with the reccomendation, but still did so he could play on the safe side. Im not saying it has never happened though. Those things are more like guidelines but I think judges just follow them to get out of any responsibility incase they made a bad decision. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/04/23 02:53 PM
Need adviceJust file for divorce. Seriously if things don't work out with the other guy, do you really want her back? If she came back it would only be because you're her second choice at best, and more likely just someone for her to use. You will never be happy knowing she doesn't really love you. Move on, find yourself, and find some happiness. Where do you guys keep finding these messed up women? | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/04/23 04:18 AM
Considering Divorce: 2 kids under 4You deserve to be happy and attraction is a tough one so in the end you can only do whats best for you and your family. Are there any outside factors effecting your attraction and or spark? Can you encourage her to take better care of herself with gift certificates to the salon, or beauty care? Are you trying to reconnect with her? Is there anything you could be doing for her? Is this something that can be fixed or changed? I'd approach the situation gently and wouldn't flat out tell her you're … | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/23 04:37 PM
Am I being a sissy? How much putting down is too much?Has she seen a Dr about PPD? I would suggest she see a Dr and a counselor herself. I've had 5 babies and with each one my depression got worse. After the births of my 2 youngest it was so bad and I felt so abandoned I seriously considered taking my kids to my parents and cutting my husband's head off. I didn't do it, and was out of my mind from depression, exhaustion, and sleep deprivation. Having babies especially back to back really messes with a woman in every way- physically, mentally, emoti… | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/03/23 04:59 PM
How far will a narcissistic mother go to get custody of kids & to punish the ex-husband?I could tell you about my husband's baby mama, but that would involve writing a book describing the most vile and evil acts a woman could do just to get custody for child support and revenge, and not because she wants to be a mom. She lied and coached her 4yo daughter to lie and say my 16yo little brother touched her. I had evidence that he was never around her and that she had been to the Dr for problems down there (she didn't wipe good and I would only instruct her because I was afraid her mom… | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/03/23 09:41 PM
So it seems divorce is imminent…Everyone else has great suggestions, but I want to add that she's cheating if she's acting like that over her phone. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/03/23 03:28 AM
Help? Wife seeking men’s perspective on what you think I should do…Just leave. If he valued and loved you so much he wouldn't do that to you. My sex drive is extremely high right now and my husband's has gone down (it was always even) so I just have a drawer full of adult toys in the bathroom that I use when I need to. I have too much love and respect for my husband to cheat on him and he doesn't want any one else either. I don't want anyone else, he's the only man ive truly been attracted to and the sex is amazing (all the kinky stuff was my idea). I also fell… | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/03/23 02:02 AM
The BEST parts about being divorcedAs a wife I can say that I usually say I'm fine because I'm too upset to communicate what's wrong in a way that won't sound like I'm bitching, and I don't want to start a fight. I try to calm down and think about how to say what I need to in a way that's more constructive (at a time when were calm), instead of rehashing the same fight over and over. My husband also used to be emotionally abusive (he has anger issues) so I'm used to dancing around my own words. I'm not doing it so much out of fea… | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/03/23 12:22 AM
