1	Most of the dudes you see on askTRP have incredibly shitty lives and think girls will automatically make their lives better. The secret is to be so secure in the self and boundaries of the ego that external validation or the lack of it does not drive your movement through life. Not saying you should be 100% selfish and disregarding of humanity, but your internal purpose and drive to self-actualisation should be such a strong focus that getting external validation OF ANY TYPE is like a mild suggestion to your ego. 1	Weekly Community Chat Megathread (14 September 2019) I've climbed most of the 14ers but the North Cascades was the range that made my jaw drop the minute I saw Shuksan looming over Artist Point. The Rockies may have more trails and accessible mountains but nothing compares in starkness and raw edge than the Cascades. I have planned from Sat-Mon is Excelsior Ridge, the Tomyhoi/YAB/Twin Lakes area, Hannegan Pass, and Tapto Lakes/Whatcom Pass onward to Ross Lake via Big Beaver. 1	What’s wrong with travel? Travel for me is spending 3-4 days backpacking through rain and devil's club around mountains like the North Cascades and Tetons.
