to be honest everyone, male and female sometimes needs to be reminded that... "opinions are like arseholes... everyone has one and a lot of them stink" so advice... think before you speak, consider how you would feel if someone said what you are about to say to you with little to no warning. takea breath before you reply, give yourself that time to reflect on your thoughts. do less "you should" statements and use "i think" or "perhaps we" sort of phrasing... go neutral as far as possible in lang…

am man... have mostly female friends... would sleep with most of them... doesn't affect how i am as a friend to any of them. so my experience is pretty different to yours... guess the men around your way have poor impulse control perhaps? :)

ok so forget the cash part... they still don't strike me as masculine... regardless of tv or not high financial value men are usually pretty effeminate and overly groomed, and not what i associate with what RPW want... financial security is one thing, over compensation is another! ;) the only part of masculine they sort of have is money success, but with it comes avoidant personality traits that are pretty opposite to what RPW are after in a man... just seeing if you follow why i might read into…

hi... am man... i never watched much of either of those shows, but neither of those men are masculine in my view... they are both commitment phobes, they are both overly made up and groomed (looking good is one thing, they are both presented as flawless), neither of them appear to lead relationships in a positive manner... not sure what you are attracted to really... seems to me you want pretty boys in reality... or is it the cash???

hey i am a man, but i hate most hip hip cos of the sexism materialism and generally crassness... oh the fact that most rappers are gormless morons doesn't help the genre... i do love the beats though... can i offer suggestions? going to anyway.. love music!!! so look up instrumental versions to get lyric free music you love maybe? i recommend Jurassic 5 as a good outfit that use some bad language but not racist/sexist or materialistic sort of content! one of my fav tracks... Concrete Schoolyard.…

read all the comments... she has no idea what she is really after i think... i went through this with a couple of female friends when they were about 30 too... i got them to write a list of must haves and must not haves about men. then i went through it and write why each was good and/or bad... i then got them to write a list of their positives and negatives... and told them to be honest cos i was going to be... and i went through those and did the good/bad and why too. this let them see that th…

if you don't get on with krav then look at MMA courses and trainers... same results re fitness and self defence, but a different approach... also all that stuff the krav people tell you about knife disarms is all well and good... but remember if they have a knife you must expect to get cut if you fight them! and enjoy... i personally prefer MMA, kung fu (a family style brutalist assault style, like krav in concept, not that showy tv kung fu), and kempo ryu and thai kick boxing, also a bit of BJJ…

happy to help! habits die hard as they say, but if it can be a source of amusment for both of you it will be much easier for both of you... he won't be angry or annoyed and you won't beat yourself up over it! :)

hey... good one for recognising that behaviour! on a psychological strengthening sort of tangent... talk to the SO again... say you have id'd the source, and you will do all you can to not repeat that behaviour... but if you do you would like him to point it out (preferrably with humour/amusement?) "yes grandma" as a reply from him will shut you up, and if he is smiling at you you will know he is helping you recognise you are doing it again... saying "i will never do it again" is tricky, cos in …

also try daytime dates and in public places only when you do start looking again... and no alcohol or drugs... just get coffee or go to a museum or gallery, no options to have sex, and plently of time to actually talk and vet him properly... plus you can skip out early and say you are having dinner with your sister/mum/friend etc if its going badly... good luck, hit your goals for health and keep up a fitness regime! you can do it!

well TRP is totally legit, but there have been a lot of very toxic posts there recently when i have visited... maybe there should be a landing pad sort of sub for new TRP's to vent in and then a calmer waters sort of sub for the ones who have vented and want to move on with some advice? i often feel that the rage drowns out the attempts to drive positive self change... still i once visited r/incels cos i was told it was worse and... damn. OP good on you, happy you are happier
