Exactly! I saw a post before saying something along the lines of 'don't bother trying to communicate with people committed to misunderstanding you. ' A genuine misunderstanding is unlikely to lead to a fight because someone who wants to get you will be curious. They will ask for clarification, i.e. 'What did you mean by that?'.

Oh yeah also if a woman leaves a drug addict man and he ODs then she practically killed him, but if a man leaves his drug addict girlfriend then he’s doing what’s best for him.

I want to add to the top point about not giving your drink to a male friend even if you trust him. Most men never worry about getting drugged, they do not understand the importance of being vigilant while watching your drink. A friend of mine was drugged because it never occurred to him that that could happen. He wasn't assaulted, so he is still careless with his drinks.
