Did I miss it or did the article not mention his age at all? They mentioned the fact that she's 22 multiple times, I really want to know how old this murdering egghead is... Doesn't change the fact he definitely killed her.

For anyone who is really into film and media analysis, and youtube video essays, I highly recommend the channel The Take. Not only do they deconstruct common media tropes very well, it's through a feminist lens. It has helped me see so many of the harmful but common tropes used in all media (tv, movies, etc), and the insidious ways those tropes manifest in real life trends/thoughts. It's like training to find the red flags in movies!

He got mad that he could feel my breathing on his arm while I was asleep and he was watching YouTube videos in bed. He woke me up to tell me to knock it off, and for ME to move.

Sadly yes, albeit to a lesser degree... With an EX, I had my ankles and feet scratched by his disgusting talons, and he put a run in one of my sheets (I could hear the sound of his nails against the fabric! 🤢). When I told him his toenails were gross and he needed to trim them, he'd get irritated and claim "I know how to take care of myself!" One of the first things I looks for now with men is specifically how well-kept their finger and toenails are.

The second paragraph reads exactly like the type of thing you would read from a single mother venting about the deadbeat dad who bailed on her. This is a rare case of a man facing the consequences of reproduction and the women freeing herself. Good for her, he sucks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
