This is just unkind, body dysmorphia is a mental illness and way worse than just insecurity

I don’t think it’s useless at all, I know lots of young religious people who use dating apps, especially if you go to a large church with lots of members under 30. People use them the most at conventions and large meetings because they also want to cast a wide net in a small pool.

This is so stupid, I’ve broke up with every boyfriend I’ve ever had because It wasn’t working out.

They consider themselves at least an 8 regardless of height, weight, age or income where a girl can be super hot but only an 7/10 because she “knows it”

I’ve never met a guy who doesn’t tbh

No because I think it’s my child too but when guys mention wanting you to be the mother of their child and you’re not engaged they are ALWAYS lvm.

Luckily he unmatched me the second I finished taking screenshots. I love when the trash takes itself out.

Yes that’s such a cute idea! I’m gonna give that to some of my hvm friends.

This gave me a good belly laugh because that’s exactly how it’s was probably going to go

Yeah if it wasn’t creepy it’s would’ve been pretty fun and it would be a genuinely good ice breaker

I guess she was hoping he’d change his mind and they’d live happily ever after?

I usually just say “Gosh I just saw these! I’m so so busy doing insert fabulous thing here so call me tonight?” And then rinse and repeat until the only text I get is “can I call you?”. It’s also a good way to weed out people who are dating multiple people and not making you a priority.

I’ve never dated a man who would let me pay for on a date. Hell, I even have male friends who refuse to let me pay for dinner.

I agree with this. I usually tell men that I don’t have time to text all day because I have a fulfilling life outside of dating. The ones who “don’t like” phone calls get left on read.

I'm thankful that I ended a 4-year relationship and feel better than ever. Dating someone who is very insecure and refuses to get help feels like a permanent babysitting gig.

They should learn from family members and friends imo, similar to women.

If he wanted to he would. I’m not a fan of post like these that tell men how they should act it just makes it easier for LVM to hide.

I do think they are only appropriate for teenagers tbh. If he wants to buy you a ring as a gift then accept it, but make clear what you expect in the future

I’m not sure if it’s even possible to not label any female artists as pick me’s considering their job is to pander to their largely female audience of which majority are pick me’s and proud

Honestly looks don’t fade with age we’ve all seen beautiful old women dressed up with their pearls or the hippie ones with amber jewellery and they always looks so happy and radiant

I understand this. I wear a thin linen nightdress in summer and use a cotton or crochet blanket.

Idk about this because I’ve never posted a boyfriend on social media because quite frankly if I haven’t told you in person it’s none of your business, plus the evil eye is everywhere ha.

This reminds me of that Range Rover publicity stunt they did that went viral: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.standard.co.uk/news/london/revealed-the-truth-behind-cheaters-spray-painted-range-rover-left-outside-harrods-a3248406.html%3Famp

But after, when I have time to reflect, the thoughts of others’ criticisms and judgements make me doubt whether it is worth pursuing. This is your gut speaking to you and you should listen to it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
