Men are stronger than women. That means women can easily be overpowered by men - generally speaking. Those who can overpower men do not prove the rule, they are the exceptions. That means women can't win a head-on fight. The cards are stacked against them. They have to use other methods to protect and engage that aren't as easily defined as male strategy.

It's not confusing, if you understand motivation factors. If you aren't able to pick up on her hints, you've been filtered out.

If the only thing you care about is superficiality, you've already made your argument for a superficial partner. If you desire depth and dimension as well as surface, then you have to change your tactics.

To control, I would have to have an ultimate aim. If I am being controlled, that means there is an ultimate aim that I do not understand, being part of the mechanism that enacts the goal. I do not have reference for what happens outside of the framework that encapsulates me. If I act to exert influence over what happens inside of the frame in which I exist, do I work against or for the controller? How can I act outside of my own programming? I only wish to learn to exert control over my own sphe…

If every day was a celebration of the masculine through the system of patriarchy, we'd all have clean rooms. Taking a day to recognize, celebrate and honor someone or something that's important to you is never a bad decision, even if the entire world disagrees with your values.

Women are just as sexual as men. Women are more choosy in their sexual selection because they carry the burden of childbirth. Values are relative.

I complained a few years ago on facebook over something that seems very slight issue. It bothers me still. Mother's day had emoji to recognize mothers. Father's day did not. I don't know if that's still the case because i no longer use facebook, but i still feel the problem needs to be addressed. Fathers are just as important as mothers. We need both, and both should be honored.

I'd feel that they were testing the waters. "I'm married, but open." That would be my first impression. My second would be to further observe and see if I can discern their true intention. Some people are just more expressive than others and aren't acting with ulterior motives.

I agree that learning from pain is better than avoiding it. I agree that there's much hate, sadness and misunderstanding in these forums. There's also much love, support and connection. There are many people who are here to learn. I've learned things about myself by just reading the thoughts of people who speak about things that offend me. That's also learning from pain. Because you don't agree with certain sentiments shared is relevant reason to share your own, but you have to be careful that i…
