Other subs, forgot which, have a policy of making informative submissions into a related subreddit, e.g. /r/theredpill_mod_actions, for every thing a mod does, especially bans. I'm sure it's automated (it'd be a bit much to ask, if it wasn't), so I'd look into it.

Well, shit. I guess 80k subs comes with a lot of shit, even with 10 mods. Semi-unrelated, but are mod decisions publicly available in any way?

If you can't find hot girls of you own race, then move or ask your parents to arrange something. Deliberately sabotaging your long-term future for short term pleasure is the pussy move.

The entire point of a community like this is to adapt/twist the teachings here to fit your own goals/path/ideals, there's nothing wrong with that. Personally, the ideal of the lone wolf didn't do me so well, and I'm genuinely surprised that it ever does with anyone else, for more than a period of a few weeks maybe.

A women who respects her father is more than happy to respect you, allowing you to actually fulfil your role as the head of the household. If this was the case with OP, then the guy wouldn't hesitate to say "No" and we wouldn't here right now.

The church can provide answers to those things, as evidenced by the existence of the Catholic church and the Scholastic tradition. Many people have spent years looking at the facts and philosophies and "independently" determined that God and the church is the right thing for them. You're being awfully ignorant.

I like these "mentor" posts, but they seem impersonal. Has anyone on here done a post where it's an actual essay/letter they wrote someone else who they know personally, but with the names/identifying details left out? That's how you get masterpieces like If.

The word "feminism" has been used in many different ways and now today it's even a cliche to ask what someone means when they say they are a "feminist" or have the feminist pre-emptively clarify how they aren't one of "those" feminists. Feminism is not a word that needs to be clarified. Things in the sidebar, however...

One of the neatest redpills is discovering that striving for equality in any form is incoherent at best and genocidal at worst. Equality is an ideal and axiom that is a big part of many leftists movements. So if you just watch out for leftism in any form, that's all the litmus test you'll need.

TRP is about doing what works. If you think that you can, by yourself, in a vacuum, derive the complex answers to male sexual strategy, the you're full of shit. Same goes for the complex answers to proper community building and metaphysics/theology. Depending on specifics, church can be a very productive method of following.

The lonely alpha path is the one that gets you killed. Most of your effort should be placed on finding buddies that you can trust. They aren't as few and far between as someone with below-average social skills might suspect.

Well, duh. If the solution to a problem seems worse than the problem itself, then ignoring or denying the problem is the best answer. To solve the problem, work on coming up with better solutions. But that's hard and takes resources, so sometimes people cut their losses and stop worrying. There's nothing terribly irrational or illustrative about this.

Encouraging isolating individualism doesn't help anyone. You should be able to rely on your relationships with friends, family, and gasp local government for many if not most of the things in your life. Unless you're actually powerful, anything going on in DC is a distraction.

Why are you reading a website written for women? What are you doing, searching for something to be mad at? Also, the only thing relevant to men's experiences would be instructions on how to actually maintain a good marriage with a women once she is post-menapausal. As an example, leaders both define their own goals and care about the people they are leading. If you choose to be an island, with no significant affect on the future beyond yourself, the rational thing to do would be to OD on heroin. I won't do anything of the sort, as I value my relationships and plan on having children that also value theirs, as it's immensely pleasurable and immensely civilizing.

"Just letting civilization run its course" is suicidal. MGTOW is the guy who can't handle either the real world or the matrix, so he's intentionally taking crazy pills to create his own little world and do the male version of "live, laugh, love" until he's dead by slow suicide. The only respectable version of MGTOW is joining an existing monastery, so at least you don't kill yourself for nothing.

So, you don't trust yourself to raise your own children, you don't care about the community around you, and you will try to "stake a claim" with whatever ethnic people conquer the area you now live in? If you're that apathetic and unconfident, what are you living for?

we've all come to the conclusion that most flavors of marriage deprive men of the fruits of their labor in one way or another No, just in the modern West. I'm not an expert on explaining lifting in words; that wouldn't work. My post was purposefully passive and opaque. We've got enough good posts, if you want to do something worthwhile w.r.t. writing, then consolidate everything and write a book or a comprehensive FAQ, or start a book club/discussion, all things that mods would have to coordinate. Yes, this conversation would not have happened, another great thing about doing and not writing.

If you're actually in that predicament, then you have a lot more wrong than your conversation style with women. "Actual value" is bullshit. Value is always relative to a goal, situation, and/or role. E.g.: Sexual market value. Marriage market value. Value as a father. Value as a son. Value as a brother. Value as a husband. Value as an employee/employer. Value as a friend. Value as an [insert hobby X]er. etc. If you want to take a weighted average of these and call it "the value that I care about", then go ahead, but calling it "actual" is bullshit. Maintaining a healthy community is the job of moderation and community standards, not purposefully pushing anyone away. If a man hasn't read through any well-thought-out TRP thought, why the fuck would he come here in the first place? You think that high quality people peruse the…

Individually, we obviously don't require respect from the rest of reddit. Collectively, it would benefit the community to better advertise ourselves to the more intelligent and receptive members and subreddits of reddit.

The Red Pill is, in it's proper form, part of the Dark Enlightenment, the political arm of which is Neoreaction, purposefully as far "right" on the order-chaos spectrum as you can get. More here. Properly executing Red Pill principles is incompatible with anything non-Neoreactionary. All other political/meta-politcal movements deny basic facts about society and reality.

There are plenty of people on reddit looking to change their lives, who would love TRP, and who would stay around providing value to themselves and the community, but who are unfamiliar with or against theredpill. The more sophisticated writing is cross-posted, the more of those kind of people will come. So, I propose a policy/norm of deliberately increasing the sophistication of our discussions. All it takes is for someone to read one really well-thought-out post here, and then they click on th…

Aggressive and productive expansion, turning external resources into internal fruit, is fatherly. Taking the status quo as is, and nurturing that status quo so that it can grow and develop slowly and naturally, is motherly. Both of these things are necessary for a family/community of any kind to survive. The motherly/curative approach has the end goal of allowing aggressive subscriber expansion by way of setting an awesome example and holding ourselves to objectively higher masculine standards t…

The nature of reddit is not work or action or reality; it is talk. That's a very feminine attitude to begin with. So of course most of the masses are going to be lowest-common-denominator liberal peons. Those who are not, those who we might want to come here and read RP stuff and share their ideas, are definitely turned off by all the low-effort posts. I hope that this isn't seen as concern trolling. I understand that bitterness is a necessary stage and that this is one of if not the only safe p…

TRP is not a religion, but you can certainly be converted to it, for reasonable definitions of the word 'converted'. Do the masses matter? No, at least not yet. Are there many strong, smart individuals that can think and write well, that, if converted to TRP, would make this community much more awesome? Yes. Is "speaking some truths and guiding the curious" enough. Maybe, maybe not. Essentially what I'm imagining is every post here being worthy of being cross-posted to somewhere else on reddit w…

To attract as many high-quality males as we can, who in turn attract everyone else. As an example, imagine that theredpill was in the top 10 of the next reading level ranking. There would be a ton of smart, awesome people coming our way. Which attack vectors do think are most promising for fast yet sustainable subscriber growth?

This is one of the reasons why I'm not against a complete ban on link posts and posts with less than a few paragraphs of well-organized thoughts. Banning low-effort content would slow things down, but would make the sub rise in quality, and most importantly gain more respect in the wider reddit community.

...and then further demonized and further outlawed. What's a possible good endgame? Secret societies / free-masons / collective mgtow, plus extremely-thoroughly-vetted women, to start over somewhere? But increasing surveillance + media = Waco 2.0 4 U. The closest mainstream thing to this is the Mormons and the Amish. At least mormonism is contiguous (dunno about the Amish, are they all in Pennsylvania?), and growing rapidly so can successfully have and develop it's own non-PC society. So, the so…

We need more flairs. This isn't a BP example. This is an idiotic feminism example. It'd even be a stretch to classify it as a BP example if the author was male, which they aren't. BP example should have to be about a specific BP man or a specific group of men.

Non-sociopathic behavior is dictated by currently-unchangeable parts of your brain. Calling it weak isn't helpful if you are physically unable to change it. If you have a How to Become a Sociopath guide, I'm all ears. I'm changing my informal diagnosis of you to narcissistic. If you're over 28 and not CEO of something yet, then you're talking out of your ass.

You're saying that regardless of whether all men are born with strong alpha tendencies, all men have the potential show satisfactorily "alpha" behavior, given their social environment. This is true, but some guys actively sabotage their social environment to prevent any alphaness from presenting itself, e.g. by immersing themselves in gaming culture or god forbid brony culture. Assuming others don't give enough of a shit to pull them out of their near-incel spiral, I'd say it's proper to categor…

A better idea: put yourself in positions where you don't think that failure is that bad. E.g. do things in a way where even if you fail, your lizard brain doesn't shit itself in shame/self-hate. If this isn't a habit, change your mindset. (This initially requires drugs for most people, e.g. alcohol for approaching.)

Helping another guy out is like giving to charity. There are two purposes. One, to feel good about yourself. Two, to maybe get something in return, e.g. the beta helps you with something non-game-related For non-wealthy non-sociopaths, these are probably the most important things you get out of this. Third thing is possible status increase, "Look at me, I'm so alpha/rich that I can afford to lose a bit of cred/money by helping out this beta/charity." Yes, it shows a bit of your soft side. This i…

Depending on the business and the position, women should make less money then men, even given exactly equal performance, because men on average can promise a more rigorous work schedule in the short and long term. Short term due to greater desire to be attractive by becoming wealthier. (hmm, this is refuted by this 2005 study which says that men take more sick days than women do... ah, but there's no mention of controlling for occupation, so maybe this still holds) Long term due to lack of any r…

The odds are high that his offspring will be able to learn or be taught to be alpha from the start so he doesn't have to be a weak beta at any point in his life. Right, but you as the guy have to be congruent enough that she'll believe that, believe that you won't slip up to your old ways. If it's not in your very nature, it's something she's taking a risk on. That's the feeling. Thinking tells us that naturals are prone to betaization because there is no conscious internal framework to prevent …

But women feel like "But those beta-to-alphas don't actually understand it. They can think it, but they don't feel it. It's way too clinical, and if you ever slip up in a moment of incongruence, you better have enough other value or I'll call you on it and things will get ugly."

So then you're a sociopath. Non-sociopaths are hurt when they hurt other people and feel good when they help other people. It's a data point that you don't have to weight, but others do. Both are correct ways of doing things, based upon your individual brain and emotional makeup.

Emotions exist. And, reframe it as taking pleasure in the fact that you give other people pleasure. Then it's "alpha" behavior. Do you give to charity? Why?

Labeling decrease the need for critical thought. All words are labels. But, some are better than others. Re: with-us-or-against-us: Totally not specific to women. I wouldn't even be surprised if studies found that men were more defensive in arguments than women.
