5	Why you Should Delete Instagram Right Now This is my point exactly— you think you’re special because you don’t follow social norms. How do you think you get followers? By meeting people in real life and following them later! If you have tons of followers you’re seen as socially competent and thereby preselected. Not having social media just makes you seem like a social wallflower who’s rationalizing your lack of a social life by blaming the platforms for being superficial. 3	Growth requires recognizing when we are below average Great post but I don’t entirely agree that browsing TRP constitutes someone being “below average”. 4	The best defense against oneitis is to learn how to love women. Appropriately. I’m an avid reader of TRP and have enjoyed implementing many of its teachings in my interactions with women, but this post seems contradictory to me. From a biological perspective, men are naturally possessive and don’t want their partners to be sleeping around with a bunch of guys to insure their child will be their own.
